All fair points.

Although I question whether it is mentality or the style of play.

With Klopp, it was balls to the wall all the time. You had to have the mentality of giving extreme effort. It was required to play in his system.

Slot is more balanced. There are moments of aggression mixed with moments of control. Maybe players are still adapting to finding the right balance. It comes with experience. It’s good for controlling games and it’s good for their legs over a long season, but the inexperience in the system may cause them to not give enough effort when needed.

first time in a very long time that the end of the season blues haven't started to hit. End of season, unveiling the new kit, and excitement of the next year have always brought out the feels but i just feel like i have a deadpan face about it all.

I am so apathetic about this team, it's ridiculous. I can't believe we're gonna keep this bald cocksucker around for another year. I understand that it's not all him to blame, but, boy He just looks fricking lost out there on the sideline.

I had a coach growing up that was all about at least looking good if you're going to lose a game. Slot and Co look lost out there and the team has zero identity or consistent form. Honestly feel bad for Robbo and Mo. Add Dom and Virg to that list as well.

It will be a huge mistake if Slot is not sacked. He needs to go with Xabi replacing him.

Surely FSG is not dumb enough to invest a heavy summer in him, knowing that the risk is relatively high that he’ll have to be axed before October next season…

Why is it just Slot that’s taking the heat? This team is short handed and limping across the finish line. There are so many issues that have been discussed that have derailed the season. It’s not his fault that Isak has been a disappointment (hopefully he is at full fitness next season). Not his fault Ekitike tore his achilles. Not his fault #8 slipped and gifted their second goal after we equalized and had the momentum. Not his fault that Wirtz has been sick or Salah got hurt. Maybe his fault for playing Gakpo so much, but it’s not like he has many options up front. Not his fault Bradley and Leoni went down and impacted the defense where senior players are now playing out of position. Not to mention not having your #1 GK for large portions of the year.

I’m not blaming this guy, one season after running away with a PL title, for the full shite of this season. He is a better manager than this season has shown.

I’m a big City and Leeds cheerleader this week to hopefully keep Liverpool in the UCL next season.

It has been a horrible year by any measure. Tough to start the year with such promise and then have the season fall apart as it has. It’s a down time for the club, but next year they get healthy and go again.

This season sucks. Hopefully they make UCL for next year.

I’ve outlined my complaints. White knight if you must, brother…

He has allowed the standards to fall. It’s a rare occasion that this steep a fall off is on the players. The standard begins and ends with the manager. The players build on that foundation.

I’m not saying he 100% can’t turn it around. Never say never, and such. I am saying I can’t justify in my mind spending a ton of money on a manager’s preference of player when his tactical preference has been so arse all season long.

I wouldn’t roll the dice.

I mean, if he goes, I’ll be onboard with the new coach. I just think there is more wrong with this team than just the coach. If he doesn’t make UCL then I don’t think he survives.

It's indefensible at this point... no identity in attack or defense... garbage!

Some players need to go with him...

It’s not too late. Talk to Xabi and Iraola, see if there’s a director of football they have a good relationship with, hire one of them as well as a new director since Hughes is Saudi bound. Let the rebuild begin next week

Ornatein is saying Xabi to Chelsea is done

I don't think he's the only manager for us, but it still sucks to see him go to that club...

Not sure who the right choice is but it's not Slot!
