i feel like Robert Frost has already addressed this, as far as Mo and his continuation with Liverpool

The only Robert Frost I know is “and miles to go before I sleep” Robert Frost.

All 3 will get extensions and all 3 will sign them. I think TAA long term and 2 year extensions for the old guys is what we are looking at. I cannot accept that these players want to leave with what is going on at the club right now. FSG on the other hand……those cheap fricks do give me a bit of trepidation. .

This is definitely a best case outcome.
Who all here has been to Anfield before ? Thinking about going to a game in February and any advice on buying tickets and pregame and postgame places to go is much appreciated.

Holy shite, February? I've been once, first ticket I booked after my divorce, in April '23, Arsenal.
You may have to buy a "hospitality" ticket, where you get put across from the Kop in not awesome seats, but you get a ticket and a mediocre lunch, and a bus ride to/from Anfield from the hospitality staging area. There are multiple hospitality sites, but five months out, I only had one choice to book. I think I heard 11 languages spoken during pre-game. People flew in from all around the world.
The high street (I think, but the market area with tons of pubs between Anfield and the train station) isn't far away. The bus to Anfield from the hospitality venues isn't bad (and neither would the walk be,) but on the way back, walk for sure. I think it took 90m for the bus to travel 3 miles.
You get *a* beer, the mediocre lunch, and a guest speaker. I coulda done without it, but beers after the first free Guinness were at least cheap (5 quid.) Carlsberg is one of the worst lagers in the world. I left one unopened before going into the game, but it was the only beer available at Anfield in the stand I was in.
I'd been to Liverpool (the city) before, so I spent that trip based out of Manchester. A bank weekend in Manchester is unique. Beware, I booked my ticket in January, and got an email in Feb? that the time of the match had changed, after I'd already booked flights. What I didn't get from the email was that it wasn't just the time that had changed, it was also the date. So I took the train from MAN to LIV, showed up at the venue, to have the staff essentially laugh at me (rightfully so) when they told me the match had been switched to the next day. Cost me a day of hiking in Wales, but my fault.
Entering and exiting Anfield is going to be more claustrophobic than you're used to. It was the anniversary of the 97, and yet I'm going through man traps and up small stairs, not great.
After, it took everyone so long to get back to the high street that it was just drunk time all the way, which was fine. Beforehand, the area near the station is pretty much walk by the pubs, find the vibe you like, and get rolling. I rather would have spent time in the pubs than in the hospitality venue, because they were rowdier (not unsafe, just not white tablecloth stuff.)
Depending on where you live, there is a direct fifth freedom flight from IAH to Manchester on Singapore on an A350 (it continues from MAN to Singapore the next day.) The plane is half empty on that route, and it's more beneficial to fly in economy than economy plus, because you can't move the armrests in Economy plus, whereas economy pretty much had everyone asleep across 3+ seats as a rule, in both directions.
You know all those tiny man purses you see people wearing? Buy one before you go. The bag thing is real, and you can't stuff your charger, batteries, etc., into a jacket.

in 2015 went to a Liv- Man City Game on New Years eve and sat in the seats across from the KOP. It was a united nations of people but pregame and halftime was great to drink a quick pint and talk to people from Ireland to Korea. WE won 1-0....great night Gini Winaldym !

I’m sticking with a “positive” attitude regarding our three players Reggie!! I used to make fun of my wife and her friends when that Secret book came out a few years ago. I’m now flip flopping and adopting those policies. Hell, if my best case scenario comes to fruition I’ll do a GD audit at a Scientology Center.

I don't mind it all!
Im looking to get over there this year.. I assume hospitality is the only way I'll be able to get tix.

My buddy is a Spurs fan and we're probably going to see a game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and then going to see Liverpool @ Anfield later that week. I have to get our tickets for the Merseyside fixture and he is getting us seats for the game in London. I haven't been to Europe in 25 years and have never been to the UK but trying to get all this planned this week so again any and all advice is much appreciated. My friend has been to the UK a few times but never a PL match.

You may want to stay in Manchester instead of Liverpool if you’re going to be there for more than a day or two. Train is ~35 minutes. I still find it amazing I can understand Liverpudlian but a hard Mancunian accent is something else entirely.
If you’re going for a hospitality package, buy it asap. I bought mine four months in advance and only had one venue to choose from. I was never able to figure out how to use the UK ticket exchange sites for any alternative.

Appreciate all the pointers
I'm thinking we'll go to the Southampton game in March instead of Newcastle in February. Those tickets are cheaper and more readily available and that'll give it a couple weeks to warm up and should make our visit to the Lake District NP less frigid. My Spurs buddy got cold feet on me. I think because the Man City tix in February were so expensive and the weather will be complete shite
My wife and I want to see London and Merseyside but I'm really looking forward to driving over into Wales. Maybe go through Wrexham on the way to Eryri National Park and Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Or not. We're doing 2 nights in London and 2 in Manchester. I like to leave 2-3 nights open without booking a place until I get there. If we go somewhere we like we just stay longer or we go venture somewhere for a night or two on the advice of locals.
