I was frustrated with Konate today. So athletic but he was jogging on that first goal and took a horrific angle to block. Just lazy. It wasn’t in the 95th minute, he looked like he didn’t want to bother sliding even. Grumble.

Gravey is better at the 6 than him for what slot wants to do.
Endo presses well and stays in good positions, but isn’t as good on the ball, nor as good going forward in passing as Gravey is.

Gakpo scored in all his League Cup matches last season minus the final at Wembley. I'm saying he gets in on the goals at Anfield today. Maybe see Chiesa draw his first start today. I'd like to see Gomez draw a start too. Play him if you're gonna pay him.

Halftime 1-1. Not particularly enamored with the midfield of Jones and Endo. Definitely have more of the possession very calculated movement of the ball around Nunez not much service. After the shaky start I guess I'll take honors even at the half.
