Mo and Virg HAVE to have already come to agreements with the club on extensions, right?

Right?

Tale of two halves today but a huge 3 points. Crazy to think that was our last PL game in March!

How does everyone feel about the move back to Adidas? I'm buying all of the kits as soon as they're announced but hoping for a decent Adidas LFC tracksuit with a reasonable price tag.

I like the move and am assuming the financials are all good... seems like a good move!

They early mock ups for next season look really good...

Not sure I'll ever buy a kit again, so that part doesn't really bother me...

Something about Liverpool kits and Adidas just go together. I wish they could send them the 2009 (I'm pretty sure) home and black alternate template and just say do that again. Low key, Virgil needs that long sleeve adidas kid that torres wore.

How’s everyone feeling about tomorrow? I think Anfield plays a role but there is no way we get outplayed again like in Paris but very nervous tbh.

Nervous as hell tbh. Would be pretty crushed if we got eliminated this early cause then it’d feel like after Sunday we don’t have much to play for this season

Of course when it’s all said and done winning the league is a huge achievement that we’d all be ecstatic about

I’m just saying if we’re gonna get eliminated in CL I’d rather it be in the later rounds so we keep having big games to watch

I think we are going to be surprised who Slot sells in the Summer. I’ll back him to build his own team but I’m not cool with no Mo or Virg. I honestly don’t believe either leaves just saying. I was surprised to hear how many forward players we seem interested in sans strikers. Now I can see he might want more back of the net options past Mo, one thing is that I believe Slot learned a lesson in how many players you truly need to compete in all comps when in the PL. PSG was able to rest their entire team this week so you need to be ready for that if you play in the PL.

So how did we get here? Was it too many games or PSG catching fire at the right time of the year?

Didn’t like the team selection. We saw in the first leg that we weren’t going to have any time on the ball, and attack was going to come from long passes out to the wing. I would have started Darwin up top as a bigger target on crosses and brought on Diogo late as a more clinical and savvy player to maneuver around tired defenders.

With the press and high line we were playing early, plus the aforementioned lack of time on the ball in the midfield, I probably would have started Endo in place of Gravenberch. He reads the game so well and would have cut out a lot of their attacks before they got going.

For the first time in forever, Salah provided a glimpse at why he isn’t already resigned. He’s the best player in the prem, but man, he just could not get past or around Mendes. Diaz was skipping past guys like they weren’t there. Every time Mo went 1v1 he lost the ball. Just a not good enough effort in either leg. Guys were late to loose balls in the midfield and allowed PSG a lot more possession just by simply working harder than us

I agree with Endo but Slot doesn’t trust him enough to start him in a big game. Same goes for Harvey and Chiesa is completely wasted. Like I previously said, if you don’t play these guys get rid of them and bring people in you trust. We play in the PL and battle on 4 fronts. This is not France or the Netherlands where you can rest whole starting units. We cannot afford to play the same players every fricking game because at some point you are going to get this result. Grav lacks the consistency he had for a large part of the season because he’s been run into the ground. And please make sure you like Steph at the 6 before we bring him back, I’ll be pissed if he comes back and Slot pulls a Chiesa on that kid.
