Szobo is on fire right now. Adding goals and assists to his already ridiculous work rate.

In carabao up news because Newcastle's Anthony Gordon got a straight red card in their FA cup game versus Brighton. He will miss the match against Liverpool. Also A. Isak, who is their biggest threat has been fighting a injury and limped off today with an injury so he could possibly be in doubt for our final at Wembley

Another big day for Slott
PSG are playing their best and we'll need to be sharp. Whichever team moves on will have a huge advantage in the QFs and beyond as we both sit 13 points clear atop our respective domestic leagues. Rest and rotation before CL matches will be an easy ask for either club.

Great win! felt fortunate to come out with the victory as PSG had several good opportuntities to score where they should have. Thank you Alisson.
seemed odd that Gakpo wasn't on the game day roster. He's been having a great season. I know he's been hurt a bit but he came on as a substitute the last two games.
Also this nugget for those that haven't seen it.

Darwin Nunez was unhappy that a possible January exit was blocked, according to reports.
The Reds striker has endured a difficult season at Anfield but still drew interest in the most recent transfer window. Darwin has struggled to break into Slot's starting XI in recent months, but still found Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal interested.
Liverpool are said to have denied their striker permission to engage in talks, with Darwin frustrated with that decision. The Uruguay international has managed just six goals this term.
Slot has recently questioned the forward's work-rate. "For the second time in a row I wasn't happy with his work effort, against Wolves and against Villa," he said.
"I can't accept if a player doesn't give everything. That is clear. I can accept it once, but twice was a bit too much. That's why I addressed it.
"If you miss a chance, you need to be fighting for the team. I'm not saying he didn't do that at all, but it wasn't the usual Darwin, the one that is loved by the fans. That is mainly because he always works so hard."

I think Gakpo wore a shot or something weird like that in training on Monday
so shouldn’t be long term

That was easily the worst game we have played under Slot. Never seen us dominanted like that, but we won anyways. Its what makes soccer great, and also suck when you lose a game like that.

Yet again Slot is spot-on with his half-time tactical changes and subs.
