Clear lack of determination in this match imo. They went 2:0 up and thought they could put it on cruse control and Wolves said frick that. Credit to Wolves, they played some neat stuff, but Pool were stuck in 2nd gear which helped them tremendously.

The difference in Lucho and Jota's football IQ vs Darwin's was on full display today. Nunez looked lost the minute he stepped on the pitch. VVD played like the best Centerback in the world today when we needed it most. I was glad to see Quansah slide in and make the game winning challenge. He's had so much bad luck this season. That was a title winning type play.

Jota will get his chance tomorrow. I wasn't surprised by the second half performance coming off such a late, emotional draw at Goodison and facing a Wolves team that had a full week's rest. Never like getting played off the pitch an entire half at home by a lesser squad but the 3 points was the key in the end. I'm still a little annoyed we play @ Villa tomorrow. The PL was quick to reschedule this fixture when there were other dates in March and April that made more sense. Hopefully we come out firing. Bailey and Rashford are both playing well and will be dangerous.

I think villa even tried to delay this advance reschedule game, but EPL said no.
