I am serious. I would tank this game if it meant Mexico misses the world cup.

I think it would be great for the rivalry if we tanked this game.

I'm talking obvious tank. Start Beniesta, and score 5 own goals.

If we decided to tank Mexico would end up beating Costa Rica.

Then send Lichaj to NZ with an expedited passport application. Jurgen wouldn't even notice.

Mexico/Costa Rica kick-off is scheduled an hour before US/Panama. We should have an idea by then if a tank job is necessary or not.

didn't this same iussue occur in gold cup? I thought the same start time for the last day of group play in a tourney was pretty standard, but not to concacaf I guess

Or give a lot of "thanks or all the hard work as an American soccer player" caps.

Conor Casey, Ned Grabavoy, Steven Lenhart, Joe Cannon, etc.

Landon is just faking the injury. He is just paving the way for a Ricardo Clark.

Nope. They all start at the same time.

FIFA schedule has Mexico/Costa Rica kicking off at 19:30 GMT, while the other 2 concacaf games are at 20:30.

GMT is definitely not local time in Costa Rica.

Regardless, that schedule is set to one time zone and it shows that Mex/CR starts an hour before US/Pan

Those aren't in GMT. They would be starting way too early.

He's right. Click the link at the start of the fixtures to switch the start times to your timezone.

Id love to see I be 0-0 about 80 mins in and we have at least a derby idea of outcome of Costa Rica - dirty shitbags. If Costa Rica is ahead I wouldn't be surprise to see us give one up.
