We should pay off Brad Davis to retire from international play. He would be a fricking legend if he stepped down, but you can never ask anyone to do that.

If Klinsmann has any sense he'll say someone, be it Davis, Green, or maybe Wondo, got "hurt" in training so Landon is replacing him.

Jurgen, I'm giving you an out here, man, take it!!!

You can't really do that to another player. This just sucks. Still shocking that Jurgen did not wait until at least a friendly. Yeah, the firestorm will be lessened, but it is not like everyone will forget.

Bring back Bob!!!

Yeah I can't see any professional coach telling a player to fake an injury.

We can only hope the team pulls a Rudy and refuse to play unless Landon plays. Except when Davis turns his jersey in he just doesn't get it back.

Are you saying he shouldn't get any credit cause he scored against an MLS team?

In that case you can discredit his ENTIRE frickING CAREER.

We are all being too emotional, guys.

The logical and rational realty is that Landon is over the hill and Green, Wondo, and Davis all offer much more for our team in Brazil.

You know just about every US player knows about Jurgy son and his stupid tweet and probably fricking hates him for it.

I don't think that was harmless ribbing from Magee. That sounds like pure 100% F U.

Landy had a meh first half (outside of the assist), but that second half was the "TAKE THAT" performance you kinda saw coming after he got the shaft.

If he keeps this up, this board will continue to be a war zone for the next few weeks and even into the World Cup.

I'm 100% ok with Wondo having a spot on the plane. He more than earned it. I don't know how you can argue differently.

ETA: I'd like someone to replace Starburn's face with Landon's.

Wondo executed when it mattered. He has been on a tear at club and national level for a while now. Its difficult to slam a guy that keeps scoring goals whenever he plays but I'm sure SCH and a couple others will be along shortly to do so.

Give him another decent game or two, and it will be more circlejerk than battleground
