Crazy. It was all bit done and dusted to Real Madrid last week.

I hate Real Madrid but it is a damn shame that a legendary player like he already is, is gonna rot in the shittiest of the top 5 leagues.

Kylian Mbappé will STAY at Paris Saint-Germain. He’s definitely not joining Real Madrid this summer, the final decision has been made and communicated to Florentino Perez. ?? #Mbappé

Bigger news in Ligue 1 is Bordeaux and possibly St Etienne getting relegated. St Etienne are one of the most decorated clubs in French football

Most interesting part is that it’s 3 years.

I had expected a crazy 1 year deal, maybe 100 million Euros, because Qatar really wanted to have him in the World Cup as a PSG player.

Curious if the contract is structured so the first year pays way more than the next 2 years, or if there is an out for him after 2022-23.

Real wasn’t willing to concede everything to him but PSG was.

He came out of this like a drama queen. Got his money and gets to play with the other drama queen Neymar.

Still can't believe they suckered Messi into playing over there.

Luckily, Vinicius is a star and Rodrygo is putting it together.

If they can groom a Benzema replacement really soon, this whole thing will be a moot point.

To me not getting Haaland was much bigger than not getting Mbappe. They just don't need Haaland right this second with the way Big Benz is playing.

And getting Rudiger was huge, carvajal spent a lot of time hurt this year. Wish they could have gotten Dest.

Meh, a lot of this is overblown. If you’re going to invest in a generational talent, why wouldn't you keep him happy? It's not a secret that PSG has been targeting Zidane to replace Poch, even if Mbappe left.

Leonardo was also likely gone regardless of Mbappe's decision. He pissed off people at Milan and at PSG both times he was there. I honestly don't know why he keeps getting jobs.

Bringing in Luis Campos as sporting director is kind of a no-brainer. He helped build the Monaco team that eventually won the league and got to the Champions League semis with Mbappe.

Getting a Benzema replacement is much easier said than done.

With Haaland at City and Mbappe staying in Paris, who is in Real’s tier and under the age of 27 or so?

Salah is too old to take the mantle and in a great club situation
Lukaku is too old and a big risk after this season
Kane, I don’t see it.

Benzema was a kid and blossomed into a star. There is a real dearth of elite strikers who are pretty young (in part because the current generation remains effective into their mid-30s).

Ya, that's why missing out on Haaland was worse than missing out on Mbappe.

If Benzema can give 2 more years at this level, I think they can find someone.

Just don't know if he'll make it 2 years.

I don't know what they have on their junior teams, if someone is developing. The emergence of Vini and Rodrygo may mask their deficiencies for a little bit.

Disappointed as a Real Madrid fan but Oh Well. Kid could have become a Legend and Win Titles or Be Rich? In Madrid he could have had both.

Already has a world cup to his name as a kid. Winning a CL with PSG does more for his legacy than being just another name at Madrid.

Also La Liga threatening to sue PSG over this

He can have both in Paris too. If he wins a Champions League at PSG, he'll be a God in that city for eternity, and it will be a far greater accomplishment than getting Real Madrid another trophy.

People shite on LeBron for leaving his hometown team to chase championships in Miami. But when Mbappe stays with his hometown club, everyone, including La Liga's president, turns into huge pussies. It's retarded.

Real Madrid reportedly offered him similar money and 100% image rights. Are they Mickey Mouse now too?

Go worry about United qualifying for the Europa League.

Boo Hoo! Madrid doesn't get their way!

Those numbers are insane... I don't blame him for staying! He can bend them over again in 3 more years or still go to Madrid at only 25...

PSG will eventually get it right and win the UCL.. Whether he's still or not, who knows..
