He hasn't been great he hasn't been bad. Par.

He has certainly done enough to keep the job for the next cycle. I wouldn't rate him as high as Arena in 2002 but above Arena in 2006 (I guess that goes without saying) and Bradley in 2010 (fwiw, I think Bradley was fired at the exact right time).
I don't see how he has revolutionized the team or changed our attitude and playing style like some have said, but I never expected that from anyone in the world in 3 years anyway.

He hasn't. We were the same gutty hard fighting team but still totally lack any technical or creative players and our ability to possess the ball is as bad as ever.

There is no question about it. KEEP JURGEN. He's doing wonders with the team

Yea. Anyone who gave him a nay is clueless.

Not sure when I said that. But carry on floppers.

In no way am I saying he should be fired, but what are there "wonders" and why aren't they showing on the field?
We were a legendary keeper performance away from getting pummeled 4-0 today.
We were 31st in possession in group play and were pinned inside the final third for the majority of the match today.
I'm not saying we can't win this way but we look just like we did under Bradley.

He's changing the culture and despite us being down one of our best players all tournament and not having near as much talent as every other team and still could have won or at least tied against Belgium is remarkable.
So yea, but if he doesn't get some more talent influx he will probably go somewhere else after 2018

I can't handle the Bradley stuff anymore. But it is certainly helping me weed out some posters, so that's nice.

Yes, resoundingly. Not having a beast like Jozy, changed the entire dynamic. Without that, he's back to "Bob-Ball" more than he wants to be, I'd say. But the culture is changing, as is the mindset. They've always given their all, every last ounce of grit or effort. But until this time, they've never had that total belief that they could do it.
Belgium COULD have put in 4, but they didn't. They could only manage 2. We only got one, but could have had 3 or 4, as well, but the chances didn't come in huge bundles with the constant pressure like the Belgians. They knew, even at 2-0 down that they could do it.

I haven't exactly studied the tapes, and it's been awhile, but I think we were a different team and played a better style against CONCACAF than we have in the past.
You can't blame him for not playing more beautiful soccer in this world cup. Our collective first touch and general ability on the ball, passing, etc was TRASH.
I can't help thinking that I was a bit naive and fell into the trap of thinking we were better than we were because of how well we played at times in qualifying against much worse opposition.

YEA.
I think it was a good cup considering the loss of Altidore and the group we were in.
Our talent is still not comparable with the Euro teams. But he put us in position to be competitive with them.

I agree and I'm not blaming JK for that at all. However, supposedly it's our most talented side ever so even though he wasn't working with much it was more what Bruce and Bob ever had.
