International teams you enjoyed watching

Due to the recent string of international friendlies with Euro 2012 just days away, I've spent quite a bit of time on youtube watching old games, goals, and highlights. It got me thinking about the teams I've enjoyed watching, so I decided I would post my list and see if anyone else had some thoughts.
What are the top 5 teams you enjoyed watching during international tournaments?
A couple rules:
1. You must pick a team from a specific tournament (ex: Brazil at the 1994 World Cup).
2. You must have watched the team during their run (for example, I can't say Greece at Euro 2004 because it wasn't televised here).

I’ll probably keep changing this as I think about this more, but trying to remain unbiased, my list is as follows:
5. Turkey at Euro 2008: Not much to say here other than point out their numerous exciting finishes throughout the tournament.
4. USA at the 2002 World Cup: After finishing last at the 1998 World Cup, expectations weren’t high. They took a stunning 3-0 lead against Portugal, tied the hosts, shut out Mexico in the Round of 16, and outplayed Germany in the quarterfinals. Brad Friedel also stopped multiple penalty kicks, and Landon Donovan was the best young player (retroactively, at least). This tournament went a long way to improving the popularity of soccer in America.
3. France at the 1998 World Cup/Euro 2000: They surprised everyone as hosts at the 1998 World Cup, and they pulled out multiple exciting wins as favorites at Euro 2000. Zidane established himself as one of the all time greats with exceptional play in both tournaments.
2. Italy at the 2006 World Cup: Dealing with the match fixing scandal, the team responded beautifully under pressure. Buffon and the defense were outstanding, and their knockout stage run included games that went down to the wire against Australia, Germany, and France. I’ll still argue that Fabio Grosso’s goal against Germany is the most beautiful shot I’ve ever seen.
1. Brazil at the 2002 World Cup: The team was full of stars including Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Lucio, Ronaldinho, and my all time favorite attacking duo of Ronaldo and Rivaldo. Ronaldo led the tournament in scoring with 8 goals, and they’re the only team in World Cup history to go 7-0-0. Enough said.

USA and Germany in the last world cup, for obvious reasons for America, and ze Germans I resonate with their culture and some of their heritage is mine, which allowed me a stepping stone.. And from there watchin their games I loved it.

-Germany in World Cup 2002, especially Oliver Kahn - They were impossible to score against.
-USA in the 2009 Confederations Cup - I have never been on that big of a rollercoaster ride as a soccer fan.
-Inter Milan in 2010 Champions League - Their whole starting lineup had career years simultaneously.
-Mexico during World Cup 1990 -

I enjoyed watching South Africa while they hosted WC2010. Got some ties there, was great to see an African team host a World Cup. When Tshabalala scored the opening goal against Mexico, it was like an entire continent was celebrating. The sights and sounds were simply amazing. Although they were one of the weakest teams at the Cup that year, the buzz around them was incredible...must see TV that summer.

outside of USA matches...
Brazil in '98 and '02 WC's... These 2 tournaments are what started my love of futbol... Ronaldo, in particular...
Uruguay in '11 Copa America... Watched all of their matches and like a lot of their players...

Was nice to see them beat France.
I must admit, it was cool to listen to the diverse crowd singing their culturally diverse national anthem, especially because it was such a large, loud crowd and about the only part of the game where you didn't hear vuvuzelas.

France 2006. It was the first time I had been to Europe and I was there throughout all of the knockout rounds. The final was... devastating.

5. Denmark in Euro 1992 (They played an exciting brand of football (Danish Dynamite) and it helped that I was in Denmark at the time. Needless to say, the atmosphere was electric).

3. Argentina in WC 1986 (I hated them but they were a great team with world class players.)
2. Brazil in WC 1982 (the most entertaining team I have ever seen and they didn't even come close to winning the title. I forgave them a long time ago for slaughtering my Scottish team and preventing us from advancing to the second group stage).
1. Croatia in WC 1998 (Had they defeated France in the semis I have no doubt that they would have won it all.)

South Korea 2002 WC - I still think their upset of Italy in the Round of 16 was one of the biggest shockers in soccer ive ever seen
Brazil 2009 Confed Cup - Even though they beat us in heart breaking fashion it was still cool to see vintage Brasil soccer
Argentina 2006 WC - Maxi Rodriguez's goal vs Mexico is still one of the top 3 shots i have ever seen. Messi was just a kid and the announcers kept saying "watch out for this young fella he's going to be something special". Just cool to see them being proved right
Germany Any tournament from 2002 on - Having embraced my German heritage i am now a die hard fan and consider them my 2nd country behind the USA. Always have great players, team chemistry, and seem to always be in big games in every tournament

Brazil 2009 Confed Cup - Even though they beat us in heart breaking fashion it was still cool to see vintage Brasil soccer

The worst red card in WC history aided that a bit. At least the referee that gave it is in prison now.

1. France - WC 1998 - Just an insane roster (maybe one of the best ever top to bottom). Exciting plays and the best finals Match in the modern generation.
2. Croatia - 1998 - I ALWAYS love watching Croatia play. It's a great hybrid system of the South American and European styles. Excited for the Euros even though their group is dreadfully hard.
3. Denmark - 1992 Euros - Fantastic team. Great chemistry.
4. US - 2002 - See above remarks. 100% agree.

Denmark in the Euros and World Cup 2002 Loved Stig Tofting.
Belgium in 1986.

Yeah, there were 4-5 disallowed that were bad offsides calls but at least somewhat excusable as just bad calls. Just odd that it kept happening to Italy match after match.
There were a couple though like the GK slipping with no Italian player within 3 yards of him and a foul being called and the goal disallowed that it's hard to defend against conspiracy theorists.
Couple that with the heroin smuggler giving Totti a red card when a South Korea player fouled the shite out of him in the box and that WC was an embarrassment for South Korea.
