Oh yeah, the jerseys were out there, just a bit hard to find. Had to order catalogs out of the back of Soccer America. I remember Samp v. Barca in the Champions' League final and Ronald Koeman's monster goal for the blaugrana.

france 98 - put a hurting on brazil
usa 2002 - watched every minute. anyone who didn't see the mexico game should watch that shite immediately.
mexico 2002-
seriously though, growing up in south texas i was very familiar with guys like conejo perez and paco palencia. watched their 1-1 draw with italy at something like 5am.
usa 2003 confederations cup - we played like shite IIRC but i liked the squad arena brought. just got a little out talented. turkey beat us in the 1st game if i remember right.
france and czech republic at euro 2004 (milan baros killed it in the group stage) they showed euro 2004 on the mexican channels
argentina's copa america squad a few years back
spain 2010 - very talented squad
uruguay 2010- always been a closet uruguay fan

The Dutch during the groups stages at Euro 08 were incredible. Flamed out against Russia in the quarters though.
Not so much France but loved watching Zidane in WC 2006. Supposedly past it but was the best player on the field in every game he played. Hate it ended the way it did for him but what a player and what a career.

One that really stands out to me was the 2010 WC Netherlands run to the finals.
I was working on a project with a Dutch company so I was in Amsterdam for the tournament and got to watch the finals from the Musemplein with 200,000 other Oranje fans. I was up under the trees to the right of the main screen and drank free beers from a bunch of Norwegians that brought a bunch of flats of beer. Place was electric. Would have loved to have seen the reaction if they would have scored or won.

Colombia had a really electrifying side in Italy 1990. It was a shame to see them fizzle and die (Cameroon).
Sweden in the 1994 WC (saw them in Pasadena).
1996's Czech Republic were enthralling, and it made me sad to see them lose the Euro.

Dandy, I saw Sweden v. Saudi in Dallas. Kennet Andersson was the man. Thomas Brolin and Martin Dahlin in that side, as well.
Colombia had a problem named Rene Higuita who ran into a buzz saw named Roger Milla. ;) But you knew this.

I don't really have a specific tournament in mind but I'm biased towards the Colombian national squad from the early 90's. They underachieved but had some exciting players (Fredy Rincon, Tino Asprilla, Carlos Valderrama, Rene Higuita).
If you watch the ESPN 30 for 30 The Two Escobars it shows how much pressure that team had on them from the whole cartel culture.
