If Carlsberg made weekends...

I really hope those bastards get caught and exposed as part of this Dodgers fallout.

Same here. Despise those c@%*s. They also massively overvalue their players. The costs of doing business with those cockney twats are far too expensive. No ta as they say in Yorkshire.

Low risk high reward and assume it would be a straight loan.

Yeah it seems like we want to go the loan route for any cover up top unless a better deal presents itself. I believe we wanted the same with Delap. The 40m that Chelscum wants for a straight transfer may be a little too dear given that he would be cover for DCL.

Jean-Mattéo Bahoya (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Funny you should mention Bahoya because he is on the list. Will be an interesting few weeks.
Exactly and think everyone was shocked that he resigned with Köln. I don't know how serious the talks were with his people but we had expressed interest.
Yeah. I think our people believe that it's a confidence issue and that he can regain that with a change of scenery. He scored quite a few for the Tractor Boys the last time they were up so he has shown he can score in the PL.

Hearing conflicting reports on Perri and Zetterer. My pal is saying that the Perri deal is back on and Zetterer is coming in depending on Frankfurt signing another keeper. As for LW, we were looking at El Mala but he signed a new contract with Köln. Now turning our attention to other Bundesliga wingers. As we all know, Farke loves that league. Oh, and Willy appears to be staying.
Yes. Aaronson is next. Apparently looking at Delap on loan for striker cover. Chelscum want 40m for a straight transfer. Probably address lw after that. No word on the Perri situation.
Also linked with Zetterer from Frankfurt but that seems to have fallen through. The Perri deal to Torino has hit a snag apparently so we may restart the talks with Marseille.
I agree. Would like to see 2-3 more brought in before the close of the window. Need #2 keeper desperately and cover for the left side. Maybe bring in a striker but we don't seem to have a sense of urgency about that one as Okafor is perfectly capable of playing a false 9 if he's fit. Also, cheaper options will present themselves as the window winds down. Give the scabs a good hiding this satdi and close out the window strong.
Despise the smoggies but will always be a fan of Bill. Also, Elvedi medical is scheduled for next week.
The Elvedi deal is 8m (6m base) + 15% sell-on. All dependant on Bornauw leaving but at that price I would be gently nudging him out the door.
Tough loss for the Honest Men today against the hated Killie.

Definitely has the pikey look about him.

Perri not even on the bench so Trafford must be very close.

Hearing that Trafford's physical is this week probably Tuesday. Also, Joffy looks to be off to Brum.

Ayr is doing well so far. Big match against Arbroath tomorrow. Hopefully the Honest Men can get promoted this year.
Latest Charles bid was rejected apparently and we're moving on to other targets.

They're thugs. F@$king Argie c@#ts.

The Brits will call you a bandwagoner no matter who you support anyway, if you floated around communities in Reddit. Plastic applies to any American fan of any team because they love to gatekeep the sport and in particular their leagues the most of any other country I have ever seen.

"Plastics" are people who choose a club but have made no effort to learn the club's history, traditions, songs, chants, etc. and have their phone camera on "record" the entire time when they attend a match. If someone makes an effort they will be accepted. IMO, the worst category of new supporters are "glory hunters." My advice is let the club choose you. Pick one that speaks to you and to which you feel an authentic connection.
You could be right. And word is that we are all in for Trafford. If we don't get that deal over the line, then we may be sticking with Perri. I wouldn't be opposed to that option if we spend the money on a striker and LB cover.

That would be a large chunk of funds gone

33 for this guy
25-30 for Charles
35-40 for Trafford

Assuming we would need a striker for depth up front that leaves peanuts for bringing someone through the door, if we have 100 million to spend that is

Definitely. However, I expect a few more departures (Willy, James, Aaronson, Piroe?) Personal terms agreed to with Trafford so now it's up to clubs to sort things out. Another club can jump in this week so the deal is far from done. Fingers crossed. As for striker, I'm not entirely convinced that the club sees that position as a priority like the rest of us do. Still a long way to go in the window so expect some surprises.
Apparently all in for Trafford once WC is over. City want somewhere in the neighborhood of 35-40m for him but the position will be sorted for the next 5 years if we can get him.
