The Krewe of Ragoo!!! I remember when you had to funnel a beer as part of the initiation process. Can't wait to watch. Great guys.
Brings back memories. I used to love buying pennants from the vendors especially for the Tulane games when you could buy a pennant from nearly any school in the country.

Yeah. Apparently that's all it is. The rumors of an ACL injury were wrong. Like I said, it was unsubstantiated.
Rumors are circulating that Dan James has a torn ACL and is done for the season. Not confirmed but that would distressing news seeing how thin we are in attack.
We watched LSU-Moo U at Anchor Bar back in 2009. Place was packed with LSU fans.

I agree with the other poster. Go to an Ivy League school and don't look back. Numerous Jesuit connections to Columbia and Yale. He'll be fine.

We have yet to score from the run of play in three Premier League matches. I have no idea how they plan to remedy this situation with what players are available. Maybe move Okafor up top whenever he is fit. Who knows?

Apparently we're trying to sign Wilson on a permanent after our loan approach was rejected. Of course, we'll end up overpaying for a player who is not a difference maker up top by any stretch of the imagination.

I completely agree. Overspend and take the deducted points. So far those punishments have been negligible. Show some bollocks FFS. Also, why do we have two people in our recruitment department whereas other clubs have 5-6? Makes no sense especially when those two are also relatively inexperienced. This whole situation really boils my piss.

The atmosphere at ER will start getting toxic if ownership fails to address some obvious needs up front. Staying up was always going to be a struggle but they are giving us very little hope. That being said, it would be nice to nick a point today.

Cali do you think there is a chance Underwood is a Farke guy or puppet? It seems odd the niners would get rid of the team they put in place, or at least let them walk, within 18 months or so when they put together two fairly strong squads (albeit in the championship sense).
Like a few have said and I agree, he's a favorite of the board and the executives within the organization. He's been a good soldier and shown some promise so they moved him into a role for which he is clearly unsuited. I also agree that we miss Hammond. His departure went largely unnoticed because Angus was a larger presence within the Leeds hierarchy but everyone I know who is affiliated with the club admitted he would be a massive loss. Little did we know... I stand by my statement that Farke will be gone by the end of September if we don't show some improvement. Unlike Underwood, he is not a favorite of the board.
Why they thought an academy guy could oversee recruiting is beyond me. This window has been a complete shambles. I'll be ecstatic if we have 10 points by Boxing Day. The fact that we are linked to Hamer reeks of desperation.

Made my day did that.
Farke will be gone by the end of September.
I agree with all of that. Piroe and Gruev are not even close to being Premier League quality. I really thought Longstaff and Calvert-Lewin would start. I don't understand that decision. Also agree that Bijol should start probably for Struijk. Good start to the match and we were competitive for about the first 35 minutes before everything went tits up. Cold comfort. The meltdown after their second goal was reminiscent of the worst of the Bielsa era. Had we gone into halftime only one goal down maybe the score-line would have been more respectable. Hopefully a better result and performance against the bar codes.

I think we can nick a point from the Arsenal match if our midfield sans Ampadu plays somewhat close to how they did on Monday. The captain is a massive loss but Arsenal's attack was anemic versus the scum. I like our chances.

Yeah. We'll see. Spurs amongst others are after Demirovic so we can probably write him off. Sounds like we're not pursuing Muniz any longer. Also, sounds like Leceister may be entertaining more attractive offers for El Khannouss. Remember that Raphinha was a last minute signing so I'm still hoping that we get someone through the door before the transfer window closes. Any player we bring in now will probably not be fully integrated until after the international break.
Wet Spam looks like a candidate for the drop. Absolutely shambolic performance against Sunderland. We need to get something against the Toffees.

Yes. Apparently we are looking at Ermedin Demirovic the Bosnian striker from Stuttgart.
You never know with the way matches are moved these days. Villa could get moved to Sunday and City could get moved to Friday. Villa Park would be an interesting place to see an away match and Brum is only about an hour's journey from London by train. Just sayin. ;-)

do you have any airline/connection recommendations from MSY to LHR? We’re going to leave on a Friday afternoon and arrive Saturday morning, so trying to determine what the best option for comfort and rest will be outside of business class options.
I've flown through Philly a few times and liked it. Never had any issues. As S said, Newark is also a good option. Flew through Charlotte once but it was a zoo. You gonna catch a match?
