I'm curious after reading the "ejection" thread on the MSB.

I have not been.

Yep. A few times. I'm a smaller guy and I played right back and sweeper so I'd try to assert myself as soon as I could during a game. That usually led to an early yellow and, consequently, a red later on.

several times on double yellows and once on a straight red. i was probably 12 years old. keeper took me out on a corner and i got up without thinking and just stamped right on his chest. it was violent and i still regret doing it, the guy ended up being hurt and taken out of the game.

Does FIFA count? I can assure you that if I had played the sport, I would have been sent off quite a bit.

I was playing keeper my very first varsity game my freshman year and got one. The other team was up 1-0, and everytime their keeper got the ball he would hold it for literally 15 seconds. I decided to let the referee hear my displeasure from across the field ended up with me getting a straight red

Nope. I don't think I've ever been carded at all in my playing career. (Age 5-14, 18-now)

Played striker as a kid, now a CM or a CAM. My game isn't really physical.

Oh man... I got cards quite often for my mouth playing keep, and when I started playing in the field I stopped getting them. I actually didn't record a card my senior year

I high kicked a kid in the face and shattered his nose on a yellow and didn't get shown off the field.

i think twice. both two yellows though. i think both times i got one for a bad challenge and the other for dissent or something later on.

got a pretty normal amount of yellows throughout the career though. in high school, we had to come off the field if we got a yellow (so gay), and i remember vividly getting carded a number of times, coming off the field, and walking back to midfield to get subbed on right away, which helped me play better as a confidence boost from my coach.

I've gotten two yellow cards in my life, both in rec soccer. Never a red, though.

One yellow was bullshite. They said I was time wasting on a free kick, but I think they just gave the yellow to the wrong person.

The second yellow was because in our coed BRSA game some referee who looked like Johnny Knoxville called a foul against me on a girl who had 1. handled the ball and then 2. fouled me. I just yelled, "That's total bullshite!" and bam, yellow.

A lot of yellow cards as a player, nearly one a game. My only red card came as a coach. I don't regret it either, the ref was putting my players in a dangerous spot by being shitty.

Twice in high school. One was a straight red because a fight started and the other just double yellowed. I've received multiple yellow cards for running my mouth though

I would get yellows all the time, like once a game pretty much, because I would play very physical. I only got a red one time. A guy slide tackled me from behind and I got up, grabbed him by his jersey and threw him down...not my finest moment I'll admit. I'm good friends with the guy now though, funny how things work out.
