The English should consult the Spanish on how to conquer Azteca.

What do you mean half American?

Edit: wait I forgot you’re not doing what most Americans usually do claiming their 200+ year old European roots and are actually half Scottish.

I find myself pulling for Mexico.

Part of it is a tinge of the regional pride that has me yelling SEC when Florida beat Ohio State and Oklahoma.

Part of it is genuine respect for Mexican shithousery and the atmosphere they will create tonight in Azteca.

Part of it is watching the English step on a rake is always great trage-comedy.

This to me the game of the tournament so far.

I want Mexico to suffer humiliation. I don't want England to just win, I want them to destroy the mythology of Azteca.

With that said, should be an amazing atmosphere.

fricking gross man.

I'm not rooting for either. It's called being a neutral.

Most of these world cup games I didn't care who won.

On the other side of the coin, listening to English commentators gush on and on for the next 4 days about:

"There's just something different about this English team. Winning in Azteca. I dare say we can dream big"

before they crash out in a lackluster showing against Spain.

Kind of a World Cup tradition.

I want England to win.

But Mexico isn’t losing this game in Mexico City.

I think Mexico gets all the way to a semi against Argentina before losing.
