Jan was horrible all year. Obvious call. Dude has lost his confidence. Center back is one of the hardest positions in sports in my opinion.

I'm glad FIFA made it a point of emphasis amongst referees to watch for grappling by defenders in the box. I get so sick of Premier League defenders mauling attackers in the box to win a header.

Granted the penalty for Brazil was a very soft call, it did set a precedent for defenders to play the ball not the man this tournament.

If Algeria holds on that not only makes Group H surprisingly interesting, but it makes the fight for first/second in our group very interesting.
