I don't think it's their place to comment or like anything on this situation, regardless of what camp they're in. Even if I hated Gregg, I wouldn't want to get involved in this fiasco by making my thoughts known on social media.

I don't assume the worst of you. You're obviously pretty intelligent with a knack for research, and thinking critically before posting. That's honorable. Maybe a bit over-corrective at times, but I believe you want the best for US Soccer, and that is evidenced by being "all in" on a message board. You definitely have the knowledge and background of game, with a high ceiling to lead others who recognize your acumen, and we need you for another 11 years in this community.

That's the thing. If he was told he was going to have to fight CP and Weah for a starting spot I can imagine Gio can process that and fight those 2 very good players for minutes with limited to no issues. When you are left on the bench for Morris that's a completely different thing

I don’t get why Gregg would tell Gio he has a limited role ahead of time. Did he mean “you’re coming off the bench because we prefer Weah to start at RW,” or was it “you walked around the field in our last scrimmage so I don’t feel you are up to this?” Was this before or after the scrimmage? Idk. A lot of vagaries and speculation.
