Giuseppe would be a starter for the US, but its not like having him would make us a power house. He was a loss, but we gained other dual nationals since then, so everybody can move on.

He would have been our best striker option since the Charlie Davies accident. If CD never has the accident, then they probably be the best usmnt striking partnership up until the deadly Woods/Pulisic partnership.

Id wouldn't of mattered any way, he's ALWAYS injured

He's softer than my penis after seeing Oprah in stretch pants, with camel toe.

Imagine him playing vs Mexico, and they begin their hacking shite, he's be injured and off the pitch by 12th minute.

I can't imagine how miserable a person must be to live in one place the majority of their life and still find it amusing to constantly trash the people and teams of that country.

As for Rossi, it hurts that he chose Italy over us but I can partially understand his reasoning, as his dad was responsible for his soccer upbringing and wanted nothing more than to see his son play in a WC for the Azzurri. I don't agree with it, but I "get it."

Still, it's pretty funny that despite an inferior league and pool the US has still finished ahead of Italy at the last two world cups. I mean, Italy finished behind New Zealand at the 2010 WC FFS

It would've been cruel for us fans to have both Rossi and Stu show flashes of potential only to be constantly injured.

shite, it was bad enough with just Stu.

I post one comment that I know will rustle jimmies, how is that equatable to "constantly trash the people and teams of that country. "

2010 - No wins at all in the WC. Only 2 points. Finishes last in group.
2014 - Only 1 win. Loses to Costa Rica in group play (LOL CONCACAF).

Congrats on 1 win in the last two world cups. Looks like Italy is on the up and up!

Congrats on doing your best to be a pretentious twat, though. You're excelling at your preferred endeavor, sir. It's awfully rich coming from someone who is a fan of Tennessee football. In fact, you care more about American things than many Americans, so your posting here, doing your best to put down US soccer, is all the more amusing.

Your posts on this board are "Yanks this, yanks that." You're not even self aware.

You are indeed rustled and have conveniently ignored Italys 2nd place finish at the previous euros

Italy will be just fine once Conte leaves and is replaced by Ventura, there's plenty of great young Italian talent that has been ignored by the current regime, but your concern over matters FIGC related has been noted

I go to UT, why would I not have the logo next to my name

I have a few posts on a few threads that include the word "yank", certainly not all of my posts OTB. I encourage you to step away from the computer/tablet/phone and take a deep breath, posting in such a disgruntled state surely will lead to no good

I appreciate your concern for my well-being

You've lived here at least 10 years. Quit acting like we are below you for supporting our own country. If people could just support their own teams without being outright dicks to others for no good reason, this board would be a better place. Look at Wm72 as an example. He lived in Italy as long as you have lived in the US, but he doesn't waste his time putting down others and generally shitting all over his adoptive country. I don't know your motivations for doing so, but it's pretty pathetic.

lol this board (a large number of Americans in general) have no problem hurling insults and abuse at Rossi for not choosing to play for the US and relish in the fact that he's been incredibly unfortunate with his injuries ruling him out of major tournaments

And I'm the dick gfy

Well they aren't mutually exclusive. And I'm fairly certain it was comments about the US that turned people against Rossi. I can't remember now. But the vitriol reserved for Rossi isn't seen by other dual nationals who decided to play for other nations (such as Subotic or Andy Najar, or even fringe players like Bakary Soumare and Roger Espinoza). Perhaps the vitriol is due to Rossi saying that he still felt American despite the fact he chose to play for Italy, and for his celebration against the US after scoring in the Confed Cup in 2009. It's not as if Rossi is innocent in inciting some of the hatred he has received.
