Why the frick do you not play the ball over the top on that free kick? At least give someone a chance to get a head on it or some shite

Because Gregg is a pussy.

You saw him pointing at his watch.

Weirdly I feel like mentally it’s almost advantageous to know we need a win Tuesday vs. Iran knowing they can draw.

all i can think from coming up with nothing out of all those corners is that this team lacks height

The defenders were clearly running on fumes and playing poorly the last 3-4 minutes, especially Zimmerman. Glad there was not an opportunity for a quick counter at the end and that England was pretty weak.

Only critiques I have are Yedlin should have come in instead of Shaq Moore, and Aaronson/Gio should have come in earlier

Maguire was damn good for England on defending Pulisic’s corners.

8.5/10 in my book

I'd rather be Iran than us - even when accounting for our slight talent edge

Pulisic played much better. His service was tremendously better and he had some opportunities out there. England wasn’t physical with him.

They should still advance with a draw on Tuesday on GD as long as wales doesn’t beat England.

The US needs a guy like they had in Korea when they finished in round of 8. Guy who can control midfield huge physicality and distribute to these dudes flying up the field.

If you knew we could make the knockouts with a win over Iran, we’d take it.

Does England still advance with a loss?

How about a parent born in Germany to a German mother? Watched German soccer games before I saw my first U.S. game and I still don’t get my feelings hurt like you do about a place you have no connection to.

Think about it, because a Russian billionaire bought a club in London, you’re crying on a Louisiana-based message board about people being mean to England. What a life.

As soon as he brought on Henderson I knew his gay arse was playing for a draw.

If we subbed more aggressively, we could have gotten something out of this game.

If we draw, Iran has 4 points

We’re going to need to press all game and we left too many attacking players on too late

If Gregg could just get caught with some hands-on LGBT activism and let the Qatari authorities take care of the rest, we’d be golden

Two teams would have 4 pts and we’d have 3
