Who is watching this? Came out recently and hits on the corruption in the sport.

Surprised there was not a single reply to this thread or any other threads on this documentary? Just finished watching this and although I'm glad I watched it, is is pretty sickening. All I can think is "absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I hope we have some better men in charge now that care more about football than money. But I also know the world doesn't work like that.

I've enjoyed almost every minute of this world cup, even if dvr'd and staying off social media each day. The games we watched yesterday between Brazil/Croatia and Argentina/Netherlands is why we love this sport.

I played soccer my whole life, married my wife who also played, coached both my kids, and my youngest is a senior in high school playing his last season. I hope for their kids and grandkids, FIFA gets straightened out over the next few decades so world cups are still going on 50 years from now.

Looking forward to 2026!

I might eventually watch it but so far havent felt the need. We all know how corrupt fifa is/was for this world cup even if we dont know all the details. Ive spent that time watching the Luis Figo doc and the take the ball, pass the ball docs on netflix when i felt like watching a soccer doc. At least those arent completely depressing.

Im not a true crime fan either so I guess different strokes lol

Id rather watch tactics breakdowns on YouTube.

I thought it was kind of boring and dragged out. They could’ve just done like a 1.5 hour long documentary and summed up everything instead of making it multiple episodes. It also didn’t provide anything we didn’t already know about fifa. Hopefully the organization changes how it conducts itself, but I doubt it.

It's really no different than lobbyist in Washington DC. Phillip Morris pays $1miilion to a congressman so they vote in the best interest of Big Tobacco.

I watched and enjoyed it. Like someone said everyone knew how corrupt fifa was but it was eye opening how brazen they were in going about it.

I don’t know how Conecuh sausage is made, but I do know it’s damn good. Ignorance is bliss!

Dude it’s amazing. Best sausage ever.

On topic: I enjoyed the documentary. Very illuminating but little of it surprising. Definitely worth watching.

my favorite part was the raghead accusing anyone who questioned a nation smaller than DFW(population and geography) being granted a world cup as racist. if that’s the definition, then I’m a blood in the wool racist

I don’t understand how they speak English with a perfect American accent.

Also that guys ability to lie with a straight face is impressive.

They were probably educated most of their lives in California or the East Coast.
