Just a knock? 3-0 lead and wanting him to rest? Blown up legs? Did they say anything yet?

Said he took a kick and his calf tightened up on him at the half. Precautionary sub at half.

At first I was a little concerned about taking him off so early, especially after Paraguay got that goal. Even if youre up 3-0, you don't take off arguably the most dangerous player on the field at half unless it's a serious concern, usually you'd wait until 70 or 75 minutes. However, in hindsight, Poch made the right call. Paraguay started playing physical and borderline dirty and would've absolutely made sure Pulisic was their focus. Good on Poch.

Poch certainly made the right call. He gets bashed for waiting too long for subs but Poch did great last night on mentality and subs.

Lower back issue from his massive dong. They are working on some sort of pulley system as we speak

I figured they were protecting him from someone trying to hurt him

Yeah but you can’t say that. You say there was tightness in the calf.

I agree, no reason to put a bullseye on his calf if that is what can take him out.

Poch is Argentinian. He knows the deal with conmebol teams.

They are keeping it all hush hush like they did in 2022. I think he plays vs Australia. If we win, he may sit for Turkey. It's even possible with a win that we could pretty much clinch 1st place in the group if Turkey doesn't win against Paraguay.

Pulisic got the shite kicked out of the balls in Qatar and played the next match.

He's going to play.

It's for sure that we clinch 1st place if we win and Turkey lose/draw.

The first tiebreaker is now head-to-head instead of goal differential and in that scenario we'd hold the tiebreaker over Paraguay and Australia, while Turkey wouldn't be able to catch us on points.

Interesting, I did not know they changed it. I was about to come in and say that we could still come in second even beating Australia.

We could, if Turkey beats Paraguay and us.They'd have 7 points vs our 6.

Turkey would have 6 points, along with us and Australia if they beat Paraguay.

Then it would come down to goal differential.

Turkey currently sits with 0 points. How are they going to get 7 out of the next 2 games

However if turkey and us win tomorrow, that puts the score 6-3-3-0. If turkey beats us then we’d be tied on points and tie break goes to turkey for the head to head

But there'd also be a potential for a 3-way tie in that scenario if Australia beats Paraguay.
