That is ridiculous. VAR sent ref to monitor and he didn’t award it! Defenders hands are above his shoulders, ball came off his face into his own hand!

That’s a change to the LOTG from last year or 2 years ago. Any deflection of the ball by a defender from a legal part of the body into the hand/arm is not considered handling anymore.
