They can look look till their blue in the face. It won’t change based off FIFA’s understanding of what happened

How pathetic by Belgium. Reduced to whining and praying for a bullshite suspension to be upheld because they’re scared to play us at full strength.

Someone let Belgium know there’s a methhead with 3 teeth at any random Waffle House that makes better waffles than anyone in their whole country.

I get being upset because the best player you thought would be out is now playing. Totally get that.

To make an official statement and an "investigation" is incredibly weak.

We have finally reached a level that euros fear us.

Not saying France should be afraid but we are a legit threat when Belgium is combing through the rule books

It’s also such a trash euro sports take by Belgium (and all the other euros on the internet) to have the gall to complain about whether or not Balogun can play when that has nothing to do with the actual game.

In the game where the foul happened we already had to play over 30 min down a man. We haven’t gotten a single VAR penalty look despite a ton of contact in the box, meanwhile Belgium beats Senegal on a last second pk on a soft VAR assisted penalty and somehow we are the corrupt ones.

ETA: I also think Balogun is the only player all World Cup to be sent off on a straight red for violent conduct after VAR review. So Belgium’s contention about how no other red card has been treated the same way holds very little water

It should have been done Thursday morning not Sunday morning. Would have avoided a lot of this noise imo

100%

I would be livid in their position too as would anyone. FIFA dropped the ball hard.

An upper tier UEFA squad scared shitless of our striker.

Man, we've come a long way.

FIFA is wildly corrupt and it's widely known. Now all of a sudden when it benefits the US, it's an issue?

It shouldn't have been a red to begin with. If people want to argue with the "rules" on paper about retroactively overturning a call like that, fine. But it's not like he ran up on a player punched them in the face.

better waffles

Belgian waffles suck, small pockets for butter like how Waffle House does it are the way to go. Their fries, on the other hand, are double plus good. Double fried with a spicy mayo sauce, yes please.
