It should have been done Thursday morning not Sunday morning. Would have avoided a lot of this noise imo

Then they would have just complained that FIFA is a sham and didn’t do a thorough investigation. They are going to bitch regardless.

Thiery Henry’s argument about Belgium having to redo their game plan is such a stupid point. Wtf do you think the US was doing? Prepping to play WITH Balogun?

Let's go. I have no idea if Trump used his influence to get the red card rescinded by the corrupt official who has a history of fixing matches. I am just glad that we have our top scorer back on the pitch. Let's hope team USA plays dominant against the Belgium waffles.

An upper tier UEFA squad scared shitless of our striker. Man, we've come a long way.

Belgium isn’t some scrub team. I know they haven’t played well, but they have talent in spots.

Ehhhh, I'm OK with the result because I thought Balogun got a raw deal with the red card. But, I don't like that our President found a need to get involved. In the end it is a game and the politicians should not interfere. He should not have even known the name "Infantino" much less have his phone #.

It is an international competition that brings in massive amounts of international tourists and stresses countries infrastructure etc just like an Olympics.

It is extremely political in nature and if our President wasn’t paying attention I’d be ticked.

There is precedent for FIFA to suspend suspensions that affect players’ ability to play WC matches, but I believe this is the first time a player has been sent off in a WC match and had the suspension delayed.

Why does ESPN trot out that communist, America hating a-hole Alejandro Moreno on ESPN FC? Venezuelan bitch is talking about Balogun being allowed to play as “shady business”. Go back to your South American utopia then frick face. Always been an overcompensating, smug piece of shite. Other than that I guess he’s alright.

That's rich coming from the team that needed the softest penalty call I've ever seen, from VAR, to advance. Let the Belgian tears flow

What's the precedent for VAR regulations just being completely thrown out the window?

The only shameful part of this decision is FIFA didn't explain the why
