McKennie is the real engine that makes this team go. In the game against Belgium the Belgians were really keying on him moreso than Pulisic

That being said. We need a better engine.

Not sure about that.

Belgium's focal point defensively was making sure Pulisic and Dest didn't get the ball on the wings. They actively ignored Tillman and McKennie's dummy runs that we utilized in our previous matches to get Pulisic and Dest space.

It sucks to lose but even more so in that fashion. That being said, we continue to evolve as a team and will only continue to improve. Proud of their efforts and yes, it will be a long 4 years.

Mckennie is doing his best, but if we’re being honest, that position requires a difference maker.

He was good enough to make the All Serie A team this past year. He's more than good enough to be our midfielder.

Our weak spots are our wingers. They are the difference makers for most teams. We have a guy who can score in the middle, but we've got zero difference makers on the outside of him. Pulisic just can't do it at the national level, and there's really no one else after him worth a shite.

There's a lot about birthright that I'm not a fan of...but it's not going anywhere fast. We might as well enjoy the positives like getting an English-American stud striker

Still telling that Poch had no problem pulling Dest or Pulisic.

But I watched differently. They were collapsing on McKennie . I'd still rather McKennie in the game than not. He gives a solid performance game in and game out

New motto for USMNT:

WHY NOT US?

Send the word out to all corners of the nation.

quote:

“Since this is the last speech that I will give as President, I think it's fitting to leave one final thought, an observation about a country which I love. It was stated best in a letter I received not long ago. A man wrote me and said: ``You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American.”

People need to quit with this shite. He is an American Citizen, and he chose to represent America. As did the 6 other players on the USMNT with dual citizenships.

There's a player on Germany's team who had dual citizenship with the US and Germany. He chose to play for Germany (because it would be easier to start). Unlike him, the 6 on our team chose our country.

Quit degrading them and implying they aren't true Americans. Unlike the majority on this board and other platforms, they have a choice of which country they would represent. They chose the US.

Show them the respect and dignity they've earned with that choice.
