Is it bad that I think those Away kits aren't so bad looking in action as their still pics? They don't look nearly as bad as I thought upon the reveal.

Also, can someone remind me where JET is playing?

I've always liked Lansbury and Frimpong, but it remains to be seen if they truly have Arsenal-quality. Both will get an opportunity to prove their worth in the preseason.

Coquelin intrigues me. Played pretty well in Ligue 1 from what I read, which is certainly more than Frimpong has accomplished as of yet.

When is Aneke going to get a chance to break throug? For someone who Wenger called "technically perfect" he sure hasn't gotten many chances. Guessing he goes out on loan to a Championship side this year.

I think he's a striker, but it's hard to tell. I have a strong feeling that JET is going to develop late, which will be unfortunate because at his size, speed, and skill he should be a monster.

They both seem to have the necessary technical qualities, but injuries have slowed their development. It'd be nice to have these guys in the rotation.

Coquelin and Frimpong is an interesting battle. I'd rather have both in the squad, as Frimpong, if he is any good, will probably go to the ACN every couple of years.

Supposedly is extremely slow. He's also only 17, and not nearly as precocious as Wilshere, who is basically a prodigy. He's really intriguing as he has great passing technique in the body of a DM. He could be a DM/Deep-lying playmaker hybrid that is rarely seen. If he can hold the midfield by himself, and pass the ball effectively, then he'll be a hell of a prospect, as that usually requires two players.

I figure from the youth ranks that Aneke, Afobe, Ozyakup, Frimpong, Eastmond, JET, Galindo, Coquelin, Henderson, Sunu, Miquel, Shea, Bartley, Freeman, Murhpy, Botelho, Watt, Edge, and some others will get loans out somewhere.

Report: Hangzhou Greentown 1 – 1 Arsenal

Shortly afterwards Robin van Persie almost scored with a delicate chip which beat the keeper but drifted just wide. Carlos Vela laughed to himself.

In truth though, the game was a fitness exercise and in the end was more boring than Tom Hanks playing Phil Collins in 14 hour biopic directed by that guy who made The English Patient, the world’s most boring film.

Another teenager. He's a good player, but it will take him a while to contribute. I figure he'll do the Carlos Vela route, do the three years in Spain, then come here. I hope he's a winger, as you really can't have enough left-sided players.

Last week or so. Gibbs and Traore will fight it out for the LB position.

Deal for Joel Campbell is off. He missed the pre-medical meeting and Arsenal got fed up and called off the transfer.

Denilson to Sao Paulo for the year on loan. 400k euro loan fee with a 6 mil euro option to buy at the end of the year.

Maybe we can go after someone who can contribute immediately.

Hope Lansbury gets his PT. Would hate to see him leave.

Considering his fee was 900k, I don't think his signing or non-signing affects our other targets. According to his dad, ManU bid higher so I guess he'll probably end up at Man U.

Would love to see Lansbury stick around with the first team.

Gazidis says we aren't done in the transfer market and that we have "substantial" funds to buy. Considering that word is extremely relative, I have no idea what that means.

Rumors say Barca will come back with a 35mil pound offer for Cesc. I say take it and be done with the whole mess.

Might as well.

Ramsey has been playing extremely well in (I know, I know) these last friendlies. He and Wilshere have played brilliantly as a pairing. Maybe it's time to give him a shot if Cesc goes. I might be comfortable with Nasri fricking off as long as we have Jack and Aaron. Nasri infuriates me as a central playmaker.

Hell No! I say strip him of the captain's band but keep him on the team. If we somehow win an EPL or CL title this year, which we can do just as easily as anyone else (other than Barca in the CL), he will be singing a different tune. If not, we sell him next year when Ramsey is definitely ready to take the helm.
