Arsenal needs a dynamic hard working striker in the Suarez mode. What about Alexis Sanchez to pair with RVP? He is available and we have the cash.

Sweet Jesus that would be sweet. My fear is that even after that abomination of a season Wenger will be too stubborn, and buy middling players hoping to stumble on the next superstar.

It is time to splurge. If it is done wisely that is all I care about.

Aaron scored for Wales
quote from Arshavin that he's staying put. fair enough, I just hope he more often than not comes off the bench
Eduardo scored in the Ukranian Cup Final ... and then gets RvP'd
goal from 2 seasons ago, just nice to revisit

Wasn't that goal from this past season.

oops, you right. these things threw me off: carlos vela, denilson, rosicky, and a remarkably jubliant emriates crowd.
also, ricky alvarez had a great goal yesterday for Velez. Wenger is apparently en route to South America at the moment.

I'll be disappointed if we pay any money for Alvarez. He might be a fine, even excellent player, but the numbers being quoted are ridiculous for an unproven Argentine.

if he leaves, this will be my bittersweet goodbye tune *sobbing* -- wish I knew what you were lookiiing for
but in the end I think he will stay

Young Jack not exactly learning the correct lesson from this past season. Arsenal should harass the refs like United.

haha, I like his thinking, but he shoulda kept that for dressing room strategy making.

I'm pretty much resigned to losing Nasri and Fabregas this summer. There's too much smoke, in each of their cases. Fabregas will probably be off to Barcelona, though we are doing a good job of raising his price so Barca have to pay what he's worth.
Nasri looks like he's interested in other places, but if he wants to frick off to Man U, he should be reminded that their wage structure isn't much different from ours. LINK
If a player like Nani is on 65k a week, a player who is more influential for his team, then Nasri needs to realize his place and know that 90k is a pretty generous offer in comparison to what he has actually produced on the field.

who would we go after to replace 2 starting spots in mid? Cesc should give us a hefty penny to spend on some immediate impact player at least.
