I lied. I was still upset and disheartened after the match.

Glad to see our Reserves can follow in the footsteps of the senior squad by crashing and burning out of the semi-finals of a cup.

I hope we do as terribly as we possibly can the rest of the season while staying in the top 3. Maybe convince Wenger we need a serious addition or two.

At this point I am sure he will be forced to get a proven CB, goal scoring second striker, and possibly a proven/vet Keeper.

I'm sure he say that Tommy V coming back is like a new signing.

Who?

This seems unlikely.

I hope Nasri and Clichy resign, or else we might as well gut the team.

IMO Wenger should rest Jack for the rest of the year (he's going to play the U21 Championships in all likelihood) and rotate some new blood in the midfield. Maybe get Ramsey some more PT. Let Aneke, Henderson, Ozyakup and maybe others get a run out or two.

Good call. We need Ramsey next year in the inevitable likelihood of injuries.

We've got that next year. Young, hot talent by the name of Jeremie Aliadiere who is with our Reserves. He's the next Henry man. Just you wait and see.

What's up with arsenal's reserves? Who do you think arsenal will attempt to off-load/keep aboard for next season?

Rumors have surrounded a number of our squad. Who knows what will happen. I could see us cleaning out some unnecessary pieces and I could also see us keeping a lot of people we want gone (read: Andrei Arshavin) Just looking at Arsene's general demeanor recently, I'd say there will probably be less change this offseason than most Arsenal fans want.

As for the Reserves, if any of are players are going to make a Jack Wilshere-esque leap into the first team it will be Henri Lansbury, Kyle Bartley or Francis Coquelin, but neither of those three will get PT like Jack has barring injury. I would put Frimpong in that group, but coming off his knee injury, I think he will likely be sent out on loan. Henderson and Aneke could sneak into the 1st team, but will also be sent out on loan I'd assume. Same with Benik Afobe. Wenger seems to like Ignasi Miquel but I'd imagine he might get shipped off on loan as well.

I'm only a casual observer of Arsenal, but I think he needs to sell RvP. Yeah, he scores goals, but he's got a bad attitude and hurts the team with his antics.

I would have said this 2-3 years ago, but he's definitely a good leader now. If only he could stay healthy for a full year...

sent off vs Barca in CL
I realize the second yellow was cheap, but the first one was all him.

Against Liverpool last week, his excessive (IMO) look-at-me celebration extended the stoppage time long enough for Liverpool to score.

I'm not trying to make a rock-solid case that RvP is a problem. I'm just saying it seems to this casual observer that he causes problems.

those examples seem fairly innocuous.

he has scrapped with wesley sneijder on the field for his NT, but he's been levelheaded with Arsenal.

plus, since he's managed to stay healthier than ever this season, he's tallied up a personal record for goals scored in a season (19). absolutely no way we'd consider selling him.

Very weak examples. 'Pool got the corner which led to their goal off a Kuyt shot right after the restart. The length of RvP's celebration (for a goal that was supposed to put us right in the middle of the title race) was irrelevant.

The Barca one is not weak.

And are you sure that's how it went down against liverpool? Wasn't their gaol in the 11th minute of stoppage?
