RvP sent out a TwitPic of he and van der Wiel today. I'm going to jump to conclusions and predict he signs with us in the summer.

That was better than porn. I can't believe he is 18 and running shite in the mid-field.

Can someone post a video of all his touches in the Barca home leg? He was downright amazing that night at the Emirates, outplaying Xavi that match.

He was the best player on the pitch. I love the way he receives the ball. Always shielding and looking to go forward. Jack is going to be a stalwart for club and country for the next decade.

Wales vs England is on ESPN2.

So is Scotland vs Brazil if anyone wants to watch a game at the Emirates or watch Denilson's national team once he inevitably gets that call up.

Sheeeit, he used to captain their U-17 side.

damn he had so much potential...

(is it wrong to begin eulogizing a 23 y/o?)

I will say as recently as last year I thought he was clearly better than Lucas who is now (somehow) an automatic call-up for Brazil. Hopefully Denilson can rebound at whatever club he ends up at this summer.

Rumor I saw on BBC said we're cleaning house some and making some major purchases. First part I can see. Second part...I'll believe it when I see it.

Major purchases might just mean one major signing at a key position, i.e center back.

Who has had a more meteoric rise in the last eight months?
-Nasri - left off the France WC squad to captaining them and probably making the EPL team of the year
-Wilshere - no explanation needed
-Djourou - left off the Swiss squad for the WC and afterthought going into this season, now our most consistent CB
-Szczesny - third string GK to first string who likely has the job permanently

I feel like it has to be Szczesny. He had to have a lot of breaks to push through to the No. 1 spot. Despite the fact he had been considered our GK for the future, he wasn't supposed to get his chance this early. He was playing for Brentford last year in League One. To go from there to taking hold of the No. 1 GK spot at Arsenal is quite the meteoric rise.
