We should charge UEFA for our travel expenses when we went to Milan and played on the shithole of a pitch three weeks ago.

Just so you don't accidentally wake up early Saturday to watch Arsenal, the next game is Monday afternoon vs. Newcastle.
i was in the bar watching the Milan game and I mentioned that the game was Monday... and everyone around me said it was Saturday... and at that moment, I became weak. gullible. I went along with the crowd. Thank you for setting the record straight.

At 4pm ET on Monday, I'm leaving work to watch us score 5 on Newcastle.

From ze twitterz of Ben Smith, a Times reporter.

please let it be true

edit: if reports are correct, he's a gunner at the end of the season for a cool 10 milly, bumped down from 18 after our miserly negotiations widdled away at his valuation.

So, what kind of player is Podolski? Is he expected to be in the starting 11 consistently?

Any truth to these? Not sure what are legit sources over there.

Here's a German source. The Daily Mail is the only English citation I can find and they're basically a tabloid. Rumors have been mounting for a while, so it's hard to tell if this is hype or legit.

He's someone who can finally provide Arsenal with a second scoring option to help take the burden off of RVP. He's more of a goal scorer than Theo and certainly more than Gervinho, Chamakh, and Park.

I don't know how Wenger would work him into the rotation though. First sub on for a Winger, or start over Gervinho.

Our fixture list is large enough to give everyone time, but it also means that Chamakh and Park are probably off. Also we have plenty of injuries all the time, so he's sure to get game time.

I'd imagine he'd start quite a bit at LW and ST. The rumors are very legit. Apparently he and Per have between texting about it.

Also, brace yourselves everyone. English press will be dominated by RvP...MCFC and Mancini want him and will spare no expense.

Now I would have zero reason to like City (like I need another reason). frick them and their deep pockets. I'll be rooting for you guys to keep him

They don't have enough strikers? WTF?

Podolski is a finisher with a cannon for a left foot.

Different type of players. Podolski has more pace and a hard finisher. RVP is more of a technical player.
