It's tough to come up short after such an incredible effort in the first half but hopefully we can keep the momentum going and take the third spot from Spurs.

We got tired and sloppy in the second half... and basically, once Ox injured his hammy early on, we didn't look like the same team. He couldn't move around well and left pretty big holes in the middle.

Great game, though. Very proud... and we kept the momentum from the Premier League which is something we haven't done during the season. If today's minor injuries were just that, minor, I like our chances at home on Saturday... we love scoring at home.

On the bright side, this keeps our momentum up and allows us to focus on the league.

Lol, looks like that pic missed out on a full frontal of Vermaelen by fractions of a second

you think Reina personally trained TV5 to achieve that sumptuous, chiseled physique?

I--oh...OH. You mean the trainer kit on Jack.

Just finished the replay. I couldn't even sit down during the 2nd half. Then when I got tired of standing I just sat on the ground right in front of the TV.

Keep your heads up Gunners. I haven't seen a team play with that must courage and determination in a long long time. It was definitely one for the ages.

As this shite was unfolding I couldn't help but think about Deportivo in 04 or 03? And even the 2005 final. Milan is familiar with these kind of chokes. Too bad arsenal couldn't punch one or two more in the second half.

So, even though we came up short, I totally take back my "This game isn't worth risking van Persie" comment. Stinks we couldn't get at least one more goal to really make it interesting. Hell of an effort and congrats to Milan for hanging on.

I kept staring down at my DVD collection at the 2005 final.

Kept thinking there is absolutely no way I'm witnessing the only comeback that will be greater than ours. You kind of got that "watching history unfold" feeling. Like when we won the group for the WC. When the ladies won it all against China. You know, stuff like that.

I legitimately felt sick when it was over. I was pulling for you guys so much.

Just so you don't accidentally wake up early Saturday to watch Arsenal, the next game is Monday afternoon vs. Newcastle.
