I'm genuinely flabbergasted at the talent level at our football club right now.
Martinelli/Trossard is arguably the ONLY weakness in the first 11 and those two are responsible for what rough guess like 25% of goal contributions since Trossard arrived?
Not even 5 years ago, Martinelli or Trossard would have been considered one of the best 2 or 3 in the starting lineup.
We gotta take the small moments to realize how much we have come up. Quite literally our first 20 players are more than likely going to be in a World Cup Squad next summer. Unreal.
Belgium - Trossard
Brazil - Big Gabi, Martinelli
Denmark - Norgaard
England - Saka, Rice, Eze, White (maybe), Lewis Skelly, Madueke or Nwaneri could frick around and get in there
France - Saliba
Germany - Havertz
Italy - Calafiori
Netherlands - Timber
Norway - Odegaard
Poland - Kiwior
Spain - Raya, Merino, Zubimendi
Sweden - Gyokeres
Ukraine - Zinchenko
Outrageous quality man

It’s amazing after so many years saddled with debt from the stadium, our best players leaving for rival clubs, not having a full squad with depth… this year is different.
I’ll be at the NLD at the Emirates the weekend of 11/22. Can’t wait.

Being reported now that Eze might not play tonight. Has to be registered by 12PM England time to participate on Saturday

If tweet fails to load, click here. So that’s official. Should be able to get everything else worked out before the deadline tomorrow and have a nice homecoming on Saturday

i’m absolutely stoked about it
if there’s any traction w/ Martenilli moving to Saudi for that 80M price tag, make that shhhht happen quick imo

I can't believe we've bought so many players.

Seen that the Trossard raise was agreed before the season started.
Still a fricking bonehead thing to do. Let’s give a guy that we can’t sell more money!

Probably in response to Havertz's injury. He might be asked to play as the back-up no. 9 now until we get Jesus back.

Like I said they are reporting it was agreed before Kai’s injury. Just dumb all the way around
I’ve also seen he’s only going to be out a few weeks

Have we ever signed 7? Our max is either 6 or 7. May have had 7 in artetas first summer, but you had loans in that.
But, we have like 30+ players now. So some of these guys have to be sold or loaned.
For example, if we keep kiwior in the reserves all season, you tank his value.

quote:I can’t see why a team like Bournemouth that sold their whole back line wouldn’t go for him. Kiwior is definitely good enough for a mid table EPL team, same with Zinny (but his wages are the issue)

I'm hoping Palace tosses a cheeky 20 to 25 million bid for Kiwior

quote:the same Kiwior that was a part in us going to the UCL semis? Shouldn’t even pick up the phone for an offer like that. 40m should be the minimum for him.

I mean I would love 40 million but Huijsen went for 50 million pounds to Real Madrid and he's 5 years younger. No way Kiwior commands that baw. 40 million (euros) would make him the 20th or so most expensive Center Back in history. 40 million pounds (about 46 million euros) would make him the 12th or so most expensive Center Back in History.
Kiwior was bought for 20 million pounds in January 2023. He signed a 5.5 year deal (66 months). He has amortized 31 months if my math is correct.
20 million / 66 months = 303k of amortization a month. 303k x 31 months = 9.4ish in amortization.
20 - 9.4 = 10.6 million.
So as long as we get 11 million we make a profit. Obviously I want the fee to be much more.

Good points all around, but Huijsen went for 70 million dollars or about 60 million euros.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Well im expecting 2-3 months now. No way just rest and injections do anything to loose bodies in a knee. Just do surgery now and be done

Dang. That sucks. Gyokeres needs to step up.
