Mr. Arteta, please have the board go for Dani Olmo in January. He can play any attacking position behind the striker.

That would be awesome. He’s rt footed so Arteta can play him on the left side.

The only reasoning I can think of to why we invest so heavily into our backline is because that is what lost us the 22/23 title when Saliba went down, but it's not like any amount of money spent on defenders will replace one of the best CBs in the world.
We need the defenders now. But we went from tierney to zinchenko. Who can barely play full games let alone a full season. And now the big Italian. And that’s after getting a Swiss Army knife always injured in tomiyasu. So I think resources should be spent bringing a defender without prior injury issues.
Timber was just a freak thing. These other guys have nagging muscle injuries. Calves, groins, hamstrings. That’s no good. They will always miss games.
We have to be better in recruitment if we aren’t going to Chelsea it and buy everyone until it sticks.

Time to cash in on Kiwior.

Jesus came in clutch here. Hopefully this is him turning the corner, but Ive said this before about other players and they kept sucking after.

3!!
Game over.
Before the world cup I think he scored 11 goals. If he can get 10 or 11 the second half of the season that would be huge.

Big game for him. Hopefully GJ gains confidence. Then the defense gives up another.

Can we punt Kiwior to the sun?

He was pretty good next to Saliba, was not great today

Not sure why Arteta refuses to play Ethan & Odegaard together?
As long as we have a solid 6 that will work just fine

Partey or Rice behind is not a bad answer.

Most players would look good playing alongside Willy

Newcastle in semi of Carabao. Home leg at the Emirates

Went to the match last night and sat in the nosebleeds with the British equivalent of the 600 section folk at saints games. It was quite the experience. When palace scored within 5 minutes, the whole section sounded like they were reading this thread haha. Cold, rainy night, but the Emirates was completely packed. The mood was pretty tense all first half. But after Gabriel Jesus’s goal to make it 3-1 the place was rocking.
The wife and I really enjoyed the experience and we snagged some great stuff from the armoury. Thanks again to all for the game day suggestions
