Mikel is running this club and going to run it into the ground if he doesn’t approve the attack.
We’re running on 3 years in row where we have stretches of not being able to generate any attack.
He HAS to bring more attack minded players into the system (a system in which we hope Saka/ode dows something extraordinary)
Winning with defense & possession isn’t a thing when you don’t have a counter-attacking threat.
I know I’m beating a dead horse, and most of you call me a sky screamer, but the stretches every year we can’t score goals are what lose you the league now.
Winning with 80-85 pts it’s a thing anymore. You likely need 95 in any given year, and to compete on CL you need a deep squad, we have neither. If Saka and/or Ode go down, we have no strategy or players to mitigate.
As it stands to hit 95 pts, we need to go something like 25-1-2. Does any one think that is likely with our squad? With perfect help, there’s a very slim chance, but chances are we tie 3 or 4 more games and possibly lose an additional game.
I know the later Wenger years are dark, but the current state of the PL is you essentially have to be perfect, with red cards & injuries, this season is essentially over before the new year starts.

Only good thing is city lost too.
This loss wouldn’t hurt as much if we hadn’t dropped the points in the red card games. Which is some bullshite because players kick the ball away and don’t get yellows.
Need to get players healthy, can’t lose to Chelsea.

Really all we need.
This Texastigers dude acting like Liverpool is a team of God's yet we still drew them with vital players being out and others going down in that game
If we can take a draw with Chelsea, get our dudes back, we'll be fighting.city and pool have both looked very susceptible this year, city moreso due do also have shite health luck.
I think we could be looking at an odd year for results

I’m not acting like they are team of god, but at least they have the ability to attack.
We’ve got 1 guy that is an offensive threat
This team has been playing like arse all year, healthy or not.

My biggest problem is with the subs. And we have seen thi sbefore.
Yeah you can question the lineup in hindsight, but the manager can change it at half time. He decides not to.
And the one attacking player we bring in during the offseason doesn't even get off the bench. So what's the point of signing him?

Welp, Edu has resigned from the club. Not good.
Easily the biggest post Wenger blow yet.

Hopefully Edu was the guy not signing attackers

To Forest? Doesn’t make sense.

Supposedly 3x the salary and they are making him a “CEO” of sorts for football. Think the Forest ownership also own multiple clubs so he’ll oversee all of them in some footballing capacity

It is anticipated the proposed switch will include Edu, 46, assuming responsibility for adding to the collection of sides and growing the operation. Marinakis owns Forest in the Premier League, Olympiacos of Greece and Portugal’s Rio Ave.

Declan Rice is not travelling with the squad to Milan
Season from fricking hell.
Also Martin Odegaard is back

The match on Sunday is far more important than tomorrows. Hopefully they're letting him get rested for that

I want Gyorekes
He’d immediately become one of, if not the best finishers on the team.
And he’s started taking Direct Free kicks and scored a couple this year

Oh look, another listless offensive half, and we’re down 1-0.

Our strategy the past three games has been get to the wings and lob a cross into the box. This feels like watching Berhalter ball all over again. It just doesn’t work if you want to score goals.
