Nwaneri has proved he is ready to have a big role this season.

He helped change this game.

I love it. Hell I'm wondering if he starts vs. PSG

He should play in every game until Ode comes back.

Would be criminal if he doesn’t, we don’t really have any ball carriers, and he excels at it

yeah, Nwaneri looks very promising...feed him more minutes with the first team.

Jesus looks excited entering with only a minute left in stoppage

eta: fighting over a last second goal, thats a goal, no

I wish Lewis Skelly could play the 8 and Rice back at 6. This game had no fricking business being this close.

None.

I know Lewis Skelly at 8 is risky especially with Nwaneri at the other 8 but Jesus man Partey is done physically. The amount of space they had in the 2nd half continues to happen every game except when we sit in a low block where Partey thrives.

No question Partey is done when Odegaard and Merino come back.

We need to see if Merino can play key passes between the lines. That's pretty much Partey's role at the moment.

Agree. I think Rice struggles with that a bit so Merino doing that and being the duel monster of Europe could take us to the next level

I wasn't crazy about Trossard up top and Havertz in the midfield this match.

Partey I'm just not high on.

Hopefully Martinelli gains some confidence from this. He's still not clinical enough.

I think Arteta needs to tweak some things. Midfield looked much better when Nwaneri came on.

Stats saying Saka got another assist. Does he get get an assist for the own goal? I didn't think own goals were counted as assists. Anyone know?

Yeah the problem with Nwaneri is who you drop? Martinelli and Trossard both playing well lately. Martinelli has been an animal off the ball and defensively this season. We lose that with Leo at LW but gain an advantage in hold up play and possession I think. It's a good problem to have but I seriously think Nwaneri starts next weekend. Martinelli can't keep being run into the ground especially because it will happen again against PSG this week.

Maybe the same lineup with Jorginho in place of Partey and then next weekend Trossard or Sterling out left with Nwaneri in midfield

Arsenal today: • Most shots by any team in one match across Europe's top 5 leagues this season • First team with more than 15 shots on target in a Premier League match since December 2017 • First team with 10 big chances in a Premier League match since September 2019

Would have a been a travesty if we would have dropped points today.

Leicester goalie had the game of his life. That was actually unreal. Calafiori, Trossard, and Gabriel had 3 point blank chances that were saved by him. Can really only applaud that goalie.

Weird game. Leicester get a deflection and a world class goal. Man City dropping points at Newcastle and us winning late is great stuff.

Jurrien Timber had 7 chances created. He is a top player and we missed him so much last year.

He provides little effort too. This dude does not deserve to see the pitch

Some reports saying Califiori picked up a knee injury late in the game, perhaps while celebrating the Trossard “own goal”.

Hope he’s all right. I really like his game. He’s fun to watch.
