Another good day so far. 8 points clear for a couple of weeks is nice.

Good day to cut into City’s GD lead.

So good to be up 2 at half. Gives us a chance to manage the game after the mid week marathon. Also, get some game time to others if Arteta wants to.

Yeah looking at the Europa league we’d potentially have two legs against Juventus then United.

Makes a huge difference not facing a first team international keeper.

Let's go boys.
9 wins out of 10 and we are champions.
25 of 30 points and we are champions
I'm pretty sure that if City gets past Bayern Munich in the Champions league, they will have a midweek game every single week until the end of the season starting the first or second week of April.

Their game at Brighton on April 23rd is going to be postponed for the FA Cup semifinal against Sheffield United.
The Champions League semifinals if they get past Bayern Munich are on May 9 or 10 and on May 16 or 17.
They have to make up the game that was supposed to be today at home against West Ham and the Brighton game.
If they beat Bayern, the only two open dates to make up those two matches are on April 4th or 5th, May 2nd or 3rd, and May 23 or 24th.
We need to pray that they get past Bayern Munich in the Champions league.

i was just basing that off espn
i hope, like you, that city goes all the way to the CL finals
last thing i want is for city to be bounced in the quarters

Martinelli and Saka can play every three days. Dumb take.

Arsenal have 18 out of 18 since the loss to City. Results are ours. Goal differential is down to two. Let Haaland destroy other competitions. I love this team.

They can… not sure that’s best for keeping them healthy til the end of the season though.
ETA: glad we don’t have to worry about this anymore

What a fantastic day! Rob Holding was excellent stepping in for Saliba so that made me very happy!
Gonna need him to be big until he gets back.
10 games left. 5 away, 5 at home. International break couldn’t have come at a better time also with Saliba and Tomiyasu injuries.
Really want City to win their FA Cup Semifinal and Champions League Quarterfinal matchups. If they win both their schedule is stupid loaded all the way through the end of May.
We’re all city fans for those competitions!

quote:seems like Tomi is done for the season. Arteta said he’s getting more scans/opinions but it doesn’t look too good. Rob was huge today like he normally is when called upon.

Also thought it was interesting that when we subbed White off we slotted Partey into RB. I know he played there for Atletico some early on but it seems like the plan, assuming Tomi is done for the season, would be for Partey to play the Zinchenko inverted fb role on the right side while Tierney is in the lineup.

The fluidity of this lineup is fun to watch.
Went to Pelican to Mars for the match this AM, and the owner said that they're the new Arsenal bar in Baton rouge

Truly is a great team to watch. Seeing guys like zini, xhaka, martinelli and troussard just move freely throughout the pitch is great. Our high pressure makes it even better since the ball is in our attacking 3rd for most of the game.
We're very open to counters, but we have such an athletic back line to make up for it.

It’s true. As a spurs fan I can admit they are fun to watch and hoped this is what Conte would bring. Congrats!
