Haha, yeah no. We’ve basically copied city but rt now have 10 players with at least 3 goals. That’s pretty damn good. Use the high eights, try and mark them like palace did and Martinelli and Saka will kill you.

Ok that wasn’t a great move by Xchaka but let’s be honest he has been excellent this year, and a huge leader on this team. I have literally gone from wanting to burn his shirt to actually not being afraid to wear it.

He hasn’t cost us a single game this year, and you have to have some older experienced guys in place to keep them level.

I am also extremely happy about the Europa league loss, you need a loss every once in a while to stay hungry, humble, and focused and that was perfect for all that plus it allows us to stay focused and fresh on the real goal. I am calling it now we are going to win or draw against against Man City and win this mfer.

I am taking my celebratory canon pics next week at Fort Morgan.

I also love this team, win lose or draw these guys have what it seems like we have been missing the last few years, heart and grit. I always left we were a little too fancy and not tough enough previously and didn’t always play as team until last year, where we just ran out of gas. Plus our defense was always a accident waiting to happen and we are very very solid now

Maybe it’s just the youth but you really get the impression that these guys are not only teammates but also “good friends just out playing in the pitch in the park” or something.

I really don’t think the pressure is going to get them, but even if we finish second in the end still wouldn’t trade these guys for anyone in the league, it seems we are suddenly the place all hot young talent wants to be.

The cannon is being raised from the sea and will be booming again for many years and with many gold cups in the chest, I predict.

Tomi out for the season LINK
quote:

Following his substitution during last Thursday’s Europa League match, subsequent assessments have confirmed that Takehiro Tomiyasu sustained a significant injury to his right knee.
Tomi has had successful surgery in London on Tuesday and will be ruled out for the remainder of this season. Everyone at the club will now be working hard with Tomi, so he can join pre-season training ahead of next season.

Wife just booked a trip during the last day of the season. They boys are just going to have to win it the weekend before so I can be at Finn’s when we clench. I’ve let them know.

I think he means his wife screwed him (figuratively) by booking a trip on the last weekend of the season, so he won't be able to watch the match. Poor planning on her part.

Congrats to Mesut Ozil on his retirement. He had some problems in his Arsenal stint, some of his own making and some because he wasn’t used right.

But there were some good times. Thanks Mesut, for your contributions.

Yeah not good. But it’s more if a reason not to care about the other cups rt now.

We don’t have the quality depth on D rt now.

Maybe we do but I just assume holding and Kiwior are below the level. So was Cedric and why he’s on loan.

He’s soured to a lot of the fan base the last couple of years with how things played out, especially me when he tweeted out “trust the process” last season to mock Arsenal/arteta but damn if I won’t think back on him fondly. His was the first Arsenal jersey I ever owned and he was the first signing we made when I became a fan. Heck of a player when he wanted to be.

Yeah, sadly this is the case. Sorry if it came off confusing. I'll be in the UK in the fall, and will be basing my timing of the trip on catching a game at the Emirates.

In hopeful news, I saw a stat circulating that City have dropped points 50% of the time after a midweek game. Let's hope that holds true for the rest of the season.

What about the issue that he's apparently been accused by multiple women of rape?

Well, if found guilty he does the time. If not he plays.

I think if Mason Greenwood can do what he did and not be charged, Partey is most likely not going to be either. They have been investigating this for nearly a year, maybe even longer, nothing will come from this.

I wouldn't worry too much about ole boy, they're in 10th hoping that Thomas Partey actually did rape someone for real for real. It's their only potential trophy this year

With current squads how many Chelsea players would make it in a combined 11? Probably zero. Maybe Enzo for Xhaka.
