Getting there several hours before kickoff!
Arsenal Supporters Club. Cash only and I never have cash!
Made it! Two hours before kickoff!
Having [many] £4 pints at the brewery in the shadows of the Emirates
Now we head into the stadium, which sounded like a prison from the outside:
Chanting and singing for an hour… boozed up and ready for the game now
Full Time! (Pardon the belly hanging out…. There were many beers that morning/day, haha)
Chanting and singing and celebrations continued outside the stadium
After many more pints at Gunners Pub, we soaked up the booze with a nice Italian dinner across the street. The Gooner in the background has season tickets and offered us some for free next time in town. Everyone we met was incredible and it was certainly the time of my life.
After pulling so hard for this club for so long, it was a dream to be there and have that experience. Now I’m planning the next one!
COYG!

Very nice! I last went at the end of Wenger and we lost. Prob a very different experience. That was when the Emirates was quiet and the fans were apologizing that I traveled all that way to watch a bag of shite.

Hell yeah bro!
Glad you had a blast. I am getting the itch big time to go back again. You sat exactly where I did when we played Everton back in 2015.
The atmosphere is so damn electric right now. I unfortunately am pressed for a time to go because Thanksgiving is the World Cup. Only 2 games in December and I'm an accountant so busy season says I can't go til after April 15th.
Maybe I can convince the Mrs. to go with me the Weekend we play Chelsea in late April.

Let's see some bench players ball out today. Europa League game at 2 pm!

Wont lie, I've never heard of our opponent before. Definitely want to give our guys a rest.

When I go back to a game at Emirates, I'm going to make sure I sit in that section. I won't complain about where I sat for the Leeds game last year since it was directly at mid field in the club section, but it was definitely more quiet

quote:Surprised Martinelli is starting. I guess Nelson isn't ready for an extended run yet.
Arsenal XI vs. Bodø/Glimt: Turner; Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Lokonga; Marquinhos, Vieira, Martinelli; Nketiah.
Arsenal subs: Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Saliba, Partey, Smith, Ødegaard, Cirjan, Saka, Nelson, Jesus, Hein.

That one jumps out at me. Guy has been playing non stop for a while.

It’d be nice to get this game wrapped up by halftime and get Martinelli and Xhaka off. Need them fully rested for Sunday.
Also is elneny injured or just 7th on the depth chart? He’s not even on the bench and EL is normally where he gets his minutes.

Pretty sure he's still injured. Think it happened back against Fulham?
Posted on 10/6/22 at 1:47 pm to DFWAggie09
He's for sure still injured and will be out probably until 2023.

Ah I’d forgotten all about that. Thanks

No alternate audio on TUDN or Unimas? Guess I am working on my Spanish again today.

Fortunately “gol” is easy to translate. Brilliant work by Martinelli in midfield. Deserves a hockey assist.

Eddie and Vieira could have easily added 2 more each. Kinda hoping for an early 3rd, so Martinelli gets rested. That and Xhaka picked up a yellow, he could do with some rest too, trouble is we don't have any further depth in the center really given all our injuries.

Vieira should be on a brace right now. Finishing has been lacking.
Posted on 10/6/22 at 3:06 pm to RockChalkTiger
Yeah finishing isn’t quite there but the effort and tempo is there from the backups.

For someone who is supposedly “not very good with his feet,” Turner has gotten a lot of work today.
