5 points ahead of 4th. we basically would need to lose 2 in a row for any of the teams behind Brighton to start catching us.

Such a great start to the season.

very promising start

don’t think the y are quite there yet to sustain these performances when throwing in other cup games week in and week out

at some point they are going to have to rely on the bench which isnt exactly heavy on quality

just stay injury free (looking at you tierney and partey)

Hopefully O is ok. Feel good about Sambi. Should have been 2 -3 more. Hopefully those start falling.

Can’t hate the start.

We really need two more players or hope that a player like Nelson develops into a reliable back-up. Who knows, maybe Matt Smith is a gem or something.

Sambi looked good today. I hope the injury bug doesn’t frick us but it probably will.

Arteta needs to sub earlier and be careful with minutes. If we are going to press like mad every game we can’t be waiting until 85 minutes to sub.

So they have less than 24 hours to make a signing ? Better be working through the night. Even if we grab somebody on loan, we need the depth.

If Odegard misses multiple matches it is really going to suck. He’s the engine of the entire thing

Yeah it ends 11pm tomorrow. Assuming uk time.

They pushed it back one day should be over already.

Why did they push it back? I’ve been thinking today was deadline day.

To be fair I think you will see the main guys starting get a big time rest soon.

Arteta plays a ton of young players during the Europa League.

ESR, Viera, Marquinhos, Matt Turner, Cedric, Nketiah, Tomiyasu, Rob Holding.

These guys have very few minutes this year and Arteta is going to let them play a ton of minutes in the group stage, the majority of the minutes, because they’re good enough to win those games and give our starters a rest.

Can’t ask for better than 5/5. Big test Sunday, I’m so ready for it though.

A win at OT would be huge. I’ll take a point right now.

ESR is a starting level player in my book but he just seems to thrive coming off the bench, seems he damn near scores or gets great shots every time. Our manager needs to remind this and use him properly in the big matches, which means bringing him before the 80th minute

Morning gents….my son’s been up since 3:30, I’ve been all over the transfer news since then…

[Fabrizio Romano] Arsenal are now really trying to sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa. Not an easy deal at all — but Arsenal trying with agents working on it.

This. Him and Jesus are both machines up front and having them pop up anywhere along the back line really sets it in motion.
