Dan Crowley and Gedion Zelalem, two of those who are eligible for the under-19s, are on loan with Barnsley and Rangers respectively. Arsenal’s team had a mix of English and imported players. Among those to catch the eye was the imposing Finnish goalkeeper Hugo Keto, the Pole Krystian Bielik did a decent impression of Per Mertesacker, and the England youth midfielder Ben Sheaf was dominant and energetic. There is plenty of potential to work with.
