There are over 100 games to be played. Of course the big name games will be expensive, but I’m thinking overall the prices will go down if the demand is not high.

I am curious what the resale market will look like for non marquee games especially based on the game location.

Well the lowest FV is $60 for only a few matches and in limited quantities. Don’t see any reseller going lower than that and with FIFAs dynamic pricing that $60 FV could jump and then we’ll….

As long as 1 seat is $60, I guess that statement is true!

My window is later this morning, has anyone here been selected (so far) in the Visa lottery for tickets? I will update after my window opens.

I was starting to believe no one would actually win the lottery and it was all a rouse.

my presale draw email on 9-10 said
"A random selection draw will take place, which will determine if you are successful in being selected to purchase tickets. Regardless of the outcome of the draw you will be notified about the results. FIFA Ticketing will begin notifying you of your results no earlier than 29 September 2025. If you are successful in the Visa Presale Ticket Draw, you will be provided a date and time slot to purchase tickets (subject to availability), with time slots starting from 1 October 2025. Being successful in the draw does not guarantee that tickets will be available for any or all matches, as tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability."

I never got any other email

FIFA fully using the lack of fan/customer protection in this country to make this by far the most expensive tournament ever.

It’s basically buy hospitality or forget about it.

After not receiving any email or message from FIFA, it is time to declare war on FIFA. They shall suffer the same fate as Pompeii and Enron.

If you are still around, what exactly did this look like?

I don’t want to get too excited, but my wife’s entry got the email! Email title: “ You are in: Visa Presale Draw Application Result – FIFA World Cup 26™”

The reason I’m hesitant is the links in the email do nothing to indicate she was selected: “Click here to log in to your FIFA ticketing account and view your assigned date and time slot. To proceed with your purchase (subject to availability), please click here.”

The first “click here” takes you to the place where it has the entry info, but says nothing about being selected or a time slot.

The second one takes you to a purchase page where all I see is Argentina “Team Specific Tickets”, which is not the team we selected and is already sold out.

So confused….thought it was phishing, but seems legit. Thought the website was delayed, but been multiple hours since we got the email.

Guess we will just be checking as much as we can over the next few days. Curious what we be available for our “window” 4-5 days after the windows started.

When I search my email for FIFA World Cup 2026 I only get a hit on my initial registration email. Assuming I was not selected. Tomorrow I'll start the process of whoring around to customers and vendors in Atlanta, Dallas, KC and Houston for extra tickets.

Is this crap for real? $1000 to sit in the tippy top corner of the upper deck?

Who the frick is buying tickets to go see these games if that's the cheapest ticket?

So I got the right to buy email a few days ago

It wasn’t even in my main email just the promotion folder

The right to buy is a fricking scam FIFA is running to get free money from people.

Yep. A group of us all individually registered but only two got emails with right to buy. We all said f that, we're fine with TV. This coming from a group of people that really want to go in person and want to take advantage of the World Cup on home soil.

Agreed. We got to log in for our window today. Here is an idea on options.

You could buy a “Team Group” package. You pick the team, but you don’t know where (or who!!) they are playing, and you have to buy all 3 games.

Category 1 was over $1000 per ticket for Portugal. Over $900 for England. $270 (category 3) - $750 (category 1) for Ecuador. Argentina is already sold out.

For single game tickets:
All final tickets are gone. All semis gone. Quarters gone.

I couldn’t find a single category 4 or category 3 ticket for the “single game” option in any venue for any match.

Category 2 ~$330-370 for group stage, Category 1 ~$450 for group stage. This could work out depending on the draw, or you could see two teams you care zero about.

I really hope the resellers lose their arse and the stadiums are empty.

FIFA once again showing how awful they are.
