Clear your cookies and cache or use the FIFA app.

I cleared my cookies and cache and it worked...however it seemed to have saved my previous selections and it wouldn't let me view what selections I was submitting my request for. I may just make a new FIFA account and do another request.

Oldmanbeasley has officially entered the lottery. Nobody has ever been due more than Oldmanbeasley to win a lottery.

I’m in the draw.

I’m not sure how the favorite team matters at this stage.

By October 1, the only teams who know their locations will be the US, Canada, and Mexico.

I have not. Some people on Twitter are. Who knows if it’s real emails or doctored pictures.

Nothing here yet. I logged in and it said you will get an email whether you are selected or not.

~4.5 million entries. Fingers crossed!

This tournament is essentially unaffordable

I am curious what the resale market will look like for non marquee games especially based on the game location.

Every 2026 World Cup ticket price, if you’re lucky enough to get chosen to buy

quote:

For the U.S. opener at SoFi Stadium in Southern California, on the second day of the tournament, prices range from $1,120 in Category 3 to $2,735 in Category 1. (In general, prices for games in Mexico are slightly cheaper than for those in the U.S.)

For the second USMNT game, in Seattle on Jun. 19, tickets range from $185 in Category 3 to $535 in Category 1. For the third USMNT game, back in Southern California, tickets are $280 in Category 3 and $805 in Category 1.

quote:

At all stadiums, according to color-coded maps shown to ticket buyers, Category 1 encompassed the entire lower bowl and most or all of the second deck — meaning a fan who pays $620 for a group game at SoFi could be placed anywhere on the 100 or 200 level.

Category 2, at most stadiums, is predominantly the upper deck along the sidelines; Category 3 is the upper deck above either goal; and Category 4 seems to be the upper third of one upper-deck section at each corner of most stadiums.

Wife got a “right to buy” email and got excited.

Basically an extra fee for the right to buy a ticket.

I suspect the bots/resellers will be in full force and anyone not lucky enough to win the lottery will be relegated to upper deck non-marquee games or dropping $1,000’s per ticket.

I was excited to take my 10 year old, and maybe even the family, to attend my first World Cup. But we could easily be looking at $10,000+ for non-nosebleed tickets, hotel, etc. for a single game to a team we want to watch. We did an 9 day trip to England, including a “vip package” for United vs. Arsenal for slightly more than that. Hard to justify that while being somewhat fiscally responsible.

Hope I’m wrong, but seems common fan definitely being priced out :(
