I'll preface this by saying I'm a pretty mild MLS fan and this might be my first post on the soccer board.
I've tried to watch as many Austin FC games as possible on ESPN+ since their debut last season and made it out to a game last fall at Q2 and had a great time. Atmosphere was electric and unlike any other sporting event with sustained energy.
After watching game this afternoon (I missed one last weekend), they're a completely different offensive attacking unit. They're far from being an elite team in the league, but appear to have made considerable improvements in their first off-season.

He’ll bring in old Messi and CR7
They’ll score 20+ and bring a title to Miami

Austin taking it to Ft Lauderdale. Love to see it.

Yeah- was hoping for it to be a bit more friendly than it was.

Are there any friendly concessions stadiums out there except Atlanta?

Really poor officiating in this match. Any touch by Portland is a card, Chivas LA running into people isn’t even a foul.

They even carded the Timbers manager for complaining about it lol

I was at the game and I agree. The offense seemed lost last year...granted, it was the first year for everyone so things like that are expected. But yes, they seemed to have a solid strategy on offense and were able to create lots of opportunities. It was a really fun game.

MLS clubs with some nice results in concacaf champions league. NYCFC wins 3-1 over some random frick, Seattle takes down Leon 3-0, New England beats Pumas 3-0 and Montreal only lost 1-0 at Cruz Azul. Everyone but Montreal has to travel to shitholes for the second legs though

They got to get their stadium.

i'll be damned if the CCL is FOUR MLS teams in the semifinals...
