Diego Carlos or Kounde?

Real Madrid green light expected soon for three deals.
- Dani Ceballos loan to Arsenal [clubs in contact on next hours to sign contracts].
- James Rodriguez to join Everton [Ancelotti called him again yesterday].
- Brahim Diaz to AC Milan [almost done].

I would like Kounde but I haven’t seen us linked with him at all. Diego Carlos’ name has been mentioned before. I was hoping his constant PK’s scared us off.

PSG approach Arsenal to sign Hector Bellerin & clubs now in dialogue. #AFC would like to keep him but will sell for right price. 25yo open to new challenge if deal struck. Could provide vital cash for targets.

- Arsenal asking price at around £35m

Record Sport understands that Messi has agreed financial terms worth €700million (currently £623m) over the course of five years in the employ of City Football Group, the Premier League club's holding company.

Messi - who on Sunday underlined last week's unilateral recision of the final year of his Barcelona contract by failing to report for mandatory COVID testing at the club – is expected to spend three seasons at Manchester City before moving to CFG's Major League Soccer franchise New York City FC.

Juventus is proceeding quickly on the Luis Suarez front and the contacts between the two sides continue, as by now it seems that an principle economic agreement has been found. Now all that is left to be seen is how the negotiations between the player and Barcelona develop.

Donny van de Beek's father has described his son's impending transfer to Manchester United as a 'dream come true'. Van de Beek, 23, is expected to complete a £40million move to United from Ajax this week after a conversation with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer convinced him to move to the Premier League.

Red Bull Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has confirmed he’s held talks with interested clubs to leave the Bundesliga side this summer. The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to partner the 21-year-old with Harry Maguire. The defender is one of the hottest prospects in world football and his performances on Leipzig’s run to the Champions League semi-finals caught the eyes of Europe’s elite.

quote:

Upamecano extended his contract with Leipzig in July but the deal was a relatively short one, running until 2023. There is believed to be a release clause in the deal that allows Upamecano to leave for just over £40m and the defender has confirmed he’s held talks with several unnamed clubs about leaving Leipzig.

Because he's a good player. He's not even a full year back from injury that usually takes 2 years to regain full fitness.

Yeah not a bad signing at all, imo. PSG can’t break the bank either with M’Bappe still on the FFP books.

They succeeded with the signing of Bernat and a few other sloppy second signings. He would be a good signing I think.

Aston Villa have agreed £14m fee for Matty Cash at Nottm Forest, potentially rising to £16m.

Villa made four bids in total, starting at £10m, but Forest always made it clear they would not let Cash go cheap. @TheAthleticUK
