And don't forget, even though our CIA has meddled in the choosing of both of these guys, we should be upset that they're not holding legitimate elections in Ukraine now. Because that totally wouldn't end with the same result as the last two...

I just find it ironic the same crowd that complains about us having a heavy hand in their elections for a decade now, is now complaining that they aren't having elections

Gee, ya don't think the next guy would happen to be a US CIA-chosen stooge too do ya? No way that happens

How is noting that they aren’t even maintaining the charade ironic?

I complicate things for literally no reason? Zelensky brings his own set of problems too, namely possible allegiance to Israel over all others.

You genuinely think that is a concern of the CIA?

I have no doubt the Ukrainian people do not wish to continue being slaughtered and conceding land to the Russians. Putin was willing 2 years ago to stop the war and remains willing today. The tradegy is the people being affected have no voice, only the corrupt US government and Ukrainian's corrupt leaders benefit. One day, some way, those fricks will pay for their sins.

Like the dictator Churchill who ran Britain during WW2? No election there until 1945 when the issue was no longer in doubt.

A lot of foolish people have “no doubt”. I just got back from Georgia, and those people are still seething at Russia about the invasion that ended in 2008. There are painted graffitti signs all over Tbilisi saying basically, “It isn’t over. We do not accept the territory stolen by force.”

In the last two years I’ve been to three former Soviet Republics near Ukraine and the overwhelming feelings are virulently anti-Russia. All of them hope Ukraine can win. This includes people who have relatives living in Russia.

Almost any people would eventually just want the war to end if they saw no chance at victory. But if the Ukrainian people thought they had an even chance at driving out the invaders they would overwhelmingly be in favor of continuing the war.

We literally had an election during our Civil War… and World War I… and World War II… and Vietnam… and Iraq

Wait till they try that shite here in November.

If they try that route here it will be a “white supremacist” attack or a “jihadi” attack and every little goose stepper here like SFP will absolutely defend suspending elections and making Biden a dictator

It was also a coalition government with no opposition and in a political framework without defined terms. Not a good comparison really.

Yeah, most countries actively at war on their own turf usually don't hold elections. If we were invaded by a foreign power or at Civil War our elections would be suspended as well.

Funny, the election of 1864 wasn’t suspended. Neither was the elections during WW1 or WW2

But it’s the third term that put him in being a leader for lifetime as shown happening . It’s the reason that a limit was voted into stopping this action

This was NEVER about 'democracy', it was always about money.

US wants to take the gas business from Russia.

We are a criminal enterprise muscleing in against another criminal enterprise.
