Yes, I was wrong, but that was because I trusted Trump's political savvy. As I said, Trump is a master of limiting the media. Why appoint someone without his skills or power who might expose the White House to questions it wouldn't have to answer if there weren't a press secretary?

Also, at that point, they had waited too late to groom anyone to be an effective press secretary.

Granted, I didn't think they wouldn't do proper vetting or auditioning. Zacharia is easily the worst press secretary choice, ever. In addition to the lying, she STILL didn't seem to understand TODAY that her job was to make the Administration look good.

For once, can we just speak for ourselves? As someone with a Biblical Worldview, I have no options. Given the current political landscape, I have to support Republican control of the all the branches of government.

It so happens that I also think Trump has enacted good governmental policies. I also appreciate that Trump is responsive and bold. I want him to succeed. I want Republicans to remain in power.

I'm also fascinated by watching his malignant narcissism in action. Hiring Zacharia without properly vetting her was a function of Trump's belief that his gut is always right and he doesn't need to consult anyone regarding what he does with "his" government.

Before the Code Red FOX interviews ordered by Trump, I thought Zacharia might be redeemable.
At the time I asked the question, I was completely sincere. I want all of Trump's appointees to succeed.

Lol. No. When I made that prediction, I thought Trump was rational about these things. Watching this go down, it's clear that he just goes with his his gut.

It's hard to predict things on that basis. I don't have the instincts to be a multi billionaire and be elected president.

Unless it's to bring back Leavitt or Kayleigh, I don't think there's enough time to break anybody in before the midterms.

Scott Jennings is out because he said too many negative things about Trump before his conversion. James Woods might be fun.
