Why would anyone use these missiles in any way other than deterrent? Using them as offensive weapons destroys anything and everything you would want to take once the country you are attacking is defeated. Using them are also pretty damn suicidal.

- covid bailouts set inflation on fire
- allowed Putin to walk into Ukraine
- sold munitions to Ukraine without a plan to replace them
- drained the SPR to keep fuel prices low and did not refill them
- let interest rates run amuck
- hollered out out military with perverts
The Ukraine situation alone was enough to start ww3 across Europe.
France, Germany, and the former UK are not spending much of their budgets on munitions. Most of their budgets are going to social/health programs. Their militaries are thin at best. I would worry about the Chinese.

You're absolutely right. The attack is coming and I know how it will be done. The Gulf of Mexico is not well defended. Our enemies can join with the Cuban Navy's destroyers and aircraft carriers and hit the beaches (actually swamps and mudflats) around Avery Island and move up Bayou Teche. The US Air Force base has been closed for 50 years. There may be some chimps still there when medical research was done on monkeys. But those chimps are not gonna be armed with any leftover weapons.
Once those ships start moving up the bayou to attack the center of America the only way to stop them is for the bridge tender to pull the switch making the bridge block any large vessels. But he's usually watching T.V. in the bridge house so they can sneak past him. It'll be a total surprise and blood will flow!
