A government or corporation would no longer need to surveil millions of people manually. It could ask the population of agents questions: “Who is likely to protest this policy?”, “Who could be persuaded not to vote?”, “Who is financially desperate?”, “Who is considering leaving their employer?”, or “Which people influence this particular person?”

Facebook was doing this 10+ years ago. You could advertise based on things like - someone was getting a divorce, about to move, get a new job, etc.

Then people found out and they removed a lot of it. Publicly anyway.

Wasn’t this the plot of Captain America and the Winter Soldier

Each person gets a persistent AI agent that continuously builds a model of them, including preferences, behavior, relationships, beliefs, vulnerabilities , likely future actions, and perhaps acts on their behalf, the dystopian potential is enormous.

We’re fricked :gif

She never woke up because she never slept - after all, she was never alive.

A white tank top. Pink lace shorts. A gold watch. Gold rings.

She stands in a pristine white bedroom and glances back at the camera, as if you’ve just walked in.

Pink sheets on the bed. Flowers on the nightstand. A designer bag on the floor.

That’s it. That’s the entire video.

No dancing. No transitions. No talking. No trends.

Just a girl looking at you from her bedroom for four seconds.

And it’s better than 99% of the content that took hours to create.

Pause it at the 0:02 mark. The lace trim on her shorts has such a texture that you can almost feel it through the screen.

The gold watch reflects light from a window that isn’t actually there.

Her curls fall differently on each side because the model took real-world gravity into account.

This isn’t the AI from six months ago. This is something else entirely.

THIS IS WHY “Dancing in the Bedroom” IS THE SIMPLEST FORMAT THAT WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE.

It creates a “one-on-one” moment.

She isn’t performing in front of millions. She’s looking right at you.

It’s precisely this illusion of closeness that’s the reason the save rate is four times higher than that of any other format.

And saves are what matter more to the algorithm than likes, reposts, and comments.

Someone analyzed this mechanism and built an entire system around it.

One consistent character. The same face.

Ha! I'm saved then. Multiple people have told me I can never be understood. AI is doomed.

And then there is identity capture. After twenty years, your agent might know thousands of things about you that you've forgotten yourself. Institutions might start trusting the model more than the actual person:

“You don't normally make decisions like this.”

“I changed my mind.”

“Your behavioral history indicates otherwise.”

At that point, the database version of you has acquired more institutional authority than you have.

This is when the real version of you is “disappeared.”

Remember when they made that movie where a computer program predicted who would commit crime

And they called it the minority report
