Yes, it really never goes away either. They have this empathy that on the surface is wonderful, but in practice it leads to disaster (suicidal empathy).

I am a Boomer with zero leftie children.
I made my oldest a conservative when she was 16. She got her first check from her first after school job at Sonic.
"DADDY! Look how much of my money they took."
"Do you see all those people at the grocery store using food stamps? Someone has to pay taxes so they can get those stamps. This week it was you. The Democrats thank you."
This was the actual conversation. She is in her 30s and has never voted for a Democrat. Neither have her siblings.
She was so pissed about them taking her money for taxes. She knew about taxes, but seeing a dollar amount in black and white on that check stub was a rude awakening.

Young women are easily manipulated. This doesn't surprise me.
And assuming this graph is close to accurate, there is a pretty significant difference between men and women in the 18-29 age range. Sucks for the young men.

This is a current survey. I'm asking when young women went full commie to this degree. Was it the 70s? It didn't just happen with MySpace, IG, and Twitter. I remember that in the 80s women were the ones into Earth Day and Greenpeace, but I don't remember it being this bad, to this degree.

I am Gen x and much of my neices and nephews are left wing . But my kids are the "odd balls" in the room. My son is more conservative than I am and my girls are very logical and therefore conservative. Now, my two girls hate Trump, but they believe that he is better than the alternative.
