The irony considering you had ZERO objections from Obama and Clinton doing this.

It's not irony, really. It's just stupidity. You dont' actually realize your leftist saviors deported illegals. You think they just sent them a letter that said, "hey friend, if you haven't gone through proper channels to enter into this country, do you mind returning to your preferred point of origin? K, thanks byeeee XOXOXOX".

You were able to identify that it was hyperbole yet you're still pretending it was some academic claim that needs to be cited? Good grief.

How many illegals entered into this country under your boy Biden?

I'm sure you know the answer to this. What does that have to do with the arbitrary quota?

True. Trump did implement the arbitrary 3,000/day arrest quota.

Obviously it's not arbitrary. It's a response to the unprecedented influx of illegals that were imported. It wasn't just an open border. There were organized efforts to get them to come.

The easiest is a US passport. I carry my passport card in my wallet as a backup to my license.
As do I.

But the incontrovertible fact is that US citizens HAVE presented valid ID (in some cases REAL ID) and have nonetheless been detained for extended periods of time. (No, I am not aware of any citizen who was shipped to the El Salvador Supermax).

If this woman just walked to the corner store and did not carry her ID, I see nothing inherently unreasonable in her decision NOT to submit to the tender mercies of ICE.

All of my wife's friends here and in Cali are Asian too, and none of them are hiding in fear because they all came here legally and are naturalized citizens like my wife, but people like Cubbies will say its because they aren't 'brown' so ICE doesn't bother them.

I'm sure you would advise any woman in her early 20s to stop and present her identification to any armed, masked man who jumped out of a car and approached them on the street.

Oh, so they weren't obviously ICE agents? How were they dressed?

And why did she run if she's legal? Because ICE is detaining and deporting "legals" anyways. They have a reason to run.

Jesus Christ there is no way you actually think this is true.

"I support deportations and upholding the law, so long as Trump merely asks illegal immigrants to self-report, doesn't expand the government's capability to process the millions to be deported and they slog through the 2-5 year process of the judges I support halting every attempt to them out of here."

What metric was used to determine this number is appropriate and realistically achievable?

vibes? feelings of discontent? What a reliable metric.

So you admit your arguments are BS and should be ignored. We knew that already, but it's good you admit it.

It's typical for them:

Left: "ICE IS GOING TO DEPORT YOU EVEN IF YOU'RE LEGAL BECAUSE YOU'RE BROWN"

Hispanic personal with status: Maybe I should be scared?

Left: "LOOK HOW SCARED THEY ARE"

They do this with everything. They create the narrative that does actual harm to the classes of people they claim they're trying to protect, then use the harm they create to reinforce the narrative they created.

Can you link to a specific case where something beyond a license, since liberal states give those to anyone, was used, and ICE still detained the person for 24 hours or more?

nah. I'm ok with anyone working to deport illegals. It just so happens that Democrats will not do it.

Until Trump, it was not necessary.

Under Trump? If I were more brown, I would definitely scan the thing and be sure that it is accessible on my phone.
